i just got one, @ $55 it is a steal.However mine has Pagani-esque lume and the bracelet is pretty subpar,but nicer than previous Addies bracelets.I think this and their Willard homage could be an unstoppable 2 watch collection for $110 US

If Addiesdive ever makes a version of this with applied indexes from the AD2112 then I will be first in the queue to buy that as well. I really don't think I will ever buy another auto watch after experiencing thin VH31.

I’m fine with dial but this really needs text cleanup. No more “deepseahunter” and no more dive mask logo.
I can't take it off, would love a flat crystal though but everyone says it will hit the hands and that's why they did the pot, the only real weakness it has is the bracelet, getting an oyster style one for it next week.
Grabbed one for 39USD (and that's with 19% taxes!), can you believe that?

Yes, hopefully also they produce one with the applied indices from the AD2112 as it is as near as I will ever get to the later Explorers.

I was contemplating getting either the ad2030 or the ad2036 with the sand dial.Similar in watch design but I prefer the more toolish look of this 2023-1 & currently only £40.Thanks for the review & I feel a purchase coming on 🤔

I think this is the watch I bought via eBay from you. Love it. So much to watch for your money. Agree with bracelet size, not for big wrists. Luckily I have small wrists. Love the look, and the quartz movement is a game changer for me. Thanks for the review and been an amazing seller.

I bought the AD2030 some weeks ago. Fantastic sand dial -the perfect watch. Then I stumbled across the AD2023-1 the one reviewed above. All in all a nice watch BUT the AR-coating on this one sucks, it is way too blue unfortunately.

Its crazy how some people get the perfect watch and other not so lucky it's always fun playing the watch lottery with these homages almost tempted in seeing if i can get lucky looks awesome
I suppose that is part and parcel of shopping on AliExpress, the inconsistency but the brands on there have certainly got better 👍👍
A solar meca movement would make these watches even better. The price difference would be minimal.

My first Ali Express watch was the green Pilot style 200m with just "Addies" on the dial for some reason. They left out the dive bit. Lol. It only cost me the equivalent of around $45 in a sale and it's still one of my favourites, running at around +5 spd and fantastic lume. I think if you want a decent reliable watch you can't go wrong with Addiesdive or Steeldive. My Steeldive Tuna is a great dive computer backup and I reckon an Addiesdive diver would be just as good. As for this one, it's a solid choice.
I know the one Brian and it’s a cracker for the price and a bit of a legend of theirs. Addiesdive and Steeldive are doing some great stuff my friend 👍👍

Great finding...any ghost positions? This caliber was ment for chronographers and I'm happy manufacturer managed to squeeze it in this beautiful case...any thoughts?
There is no ghost position mate and my understanding is that this is a 3 hand, 2 jewel, mechaquartz movement and in my experience, it runs very well. Thanks for watching 👍👍
At this price, it's impressive. I agree with you with the lug width. But maybe the proportions are a bit better. But like you, I don't like the writing on the dial. On a dive watch, it's okay. But not here.

Molto particolare il movimento anche se il consumo di batteria ne tiene conto. Dimansioni e quadrante molto bello solo potevano evitare la scritta deep sea hunter su un orologio che sembra un explorer. Bel video.

I got mine delivered today, clasp is milled inner and stamped outer in my opinion.. just as on my tag heuer.. however this clasp wobble with 1-2 millimeter in bad tolerances, also lugs are sharp enough to stab with. Otherwise it's a quite nice watch, and at the same price as my tag heuer replacement clasp... oh yeah, the sweep is 14400 bph i think, looks a bit choppy. Still lots to like about it, this was just my immidiate small disappointments..

I think this watch is gorgeous, great review. Can I ask what you mean about the bracelet size you have a 7 inch wrist and you had to remove two links, is that right? I have a 7 1/2 inch wrist just curious if it will fit...
It’s a beauty for sure mate and yes, the bracelet is a tad short given I only took 1 link out for it to comfortably fit my wrist. Could pose a problem to you but you may get away with just wearing it straight out of the box. Thanks for watching man 👍👍

hmm the Pagani Design Explorer homage is cheaper at $60 with an NH35 applied markers, numerals and logo 200m water resistance
I have seen that on AliExpress Choice and it’s a cracking deal but for me, just not as refined as this one 👍👍
@@WatchtheTime I like the domed crystal on this Addie better than the flat crystal on the PD, and the lume is most likely better than the PD. If only it had applied numerals/markers I'd jump on it.

I just received the PT5000 automatic version, AD2023-2AC. The 'Deepseahunter' text line is replaced by 'AUTOMATIC'.
Besides the PT5000 crown operation feeling a bit rough, it's a stunning watch.
