The 2022 Limited has fog lights now. Fyi, you can change the color of the ambient lighting through the infotainment screen. You can also adjust brightness. Go to settings on the menu. Other UA-camrs have tutorials on adjusting these things.
2021 venza is a rebranding of the toyota harrier JDM, and the toyota harrier is always side by side or parallel to the toyota crown, so it's natural that it looks more premium, even before 2015 the lexus rx was only a rebadge of the toyota harrier since the lexus RX was first released
I also would like to see FOG lights, especially since they have a spot for them on the front lower grill! I also want to see adaptive lights and dimming side mirrors! My 2018 Highlander platinum had that dimming side mirrors and I loved it!
First night review I have seen and I do like it. Night driving is not something you really think about when buying a vehicle so this added info is good. I currently drive a Traverse and prior to that a Santa Fe GLS. I really like the SF but I like the way I sit up higher in the Traverse. How do you feel driving the Venza? Is it a low to the ground feel like a Camry or do you sit up higher? I'm going hybrid next time and like the look of the Venza but considering the Highlander too.
I wonder if you can get someone who does custom work to install some fog lights in the front because that’s what I would want to do if I bought this car
Different ambient is different from what I am used to. In my previous vehicle, which was a 2013 beetle, it had red ambient lighting although I could switch parts of it to white or blue.
Not sure if you noticed this but on the new Venza XLE and Limited trims, the headlights seem to have a blank lens component. Next to the projector lens is a mirror reflective lense that you would think is the high beam, but it is a blank and has no function
We found the low beams not good at night especially on a uphill or downhill grade. Just a simple tweak of raising the low beam light up just a bit would make a world of difference depending where you live. Otherwise it's a great vehicle.
The Venza style before this looks like a wagon that old ladies drive. Now it looks more legit and for younger people. I actually like it and whats crazy is the base trim get some of the luxury stuff that the premium trim also have so you dont have to pay luxury prices for luxury product
As a ex Venza owner (one 2011 and 2013 Venza) the 2021 is way different of was used to be. However this new Venza is the future and maybe take to realize where we are moving. I'm considering trade my CRV 2019 but I'm not 100% in with the Venza 2021.
Great to hear from you. Yeah it’s wild how much vehicles have changed over the past decade in several ways, big displays, touch screens, safety features, hybrid only here, wild. How are you liking the CRV?
@@PrimeAutotainment Exactly. I really love my CRV, I even considerate just to upgrade to the Touring or Hybrid. However, Venza is a great option but found is kind of small if I compare with the CRV. Thanks for your reply Nolan, Happy holidays!!
the new '21 Venza has nothing to do with the old Venza except the name - it's a new platform. As a matter of fact it's a Japanese car named Harrier. They just decided to call it Venza in USA.
You provided info other viewers haven’t thank you. Subscribed. Someone needs to do a detailed video on using the horrendous infotainment system. I just bought the Limited.
It looks so handsome at night time! The coastal gray is very sophisticated looking. The chrome trim adds some nice specular highlight when it’s dark, but during the day time its color is a too bright feels kinda cheap. Wish Toyota had went with a darker color on the chrome plating.
Nolan why are companies putting rear turn signals at the bottom bumper I think it looks tacky and not a good sight of view from someone behind you Merry Christmas 🎁
No fog lights, or you didn’t have them turned on?? Edit: watched further and saw they’re not even available on the Venza. Not a deal breaker but decent fog lights would help illuminate things closer to the car and off to the sides.
Haha! Tap the thumbs down twice. Perfect! Love that you did a night review, very thorough too. Merry Christmas :) A coworker of mine has the last generation Venza and has been hoping and waiting for this to come out. She shouldn't be disappointed by the looks of this.
Noob question here: Since the 2021 highlander does not have white LED lighting on the inside, license plate and reverse lights and also no LED on the front and back turn signals and now seeing that the venza does have LED on everything, Can I go to a toyota dealership and pay them so they can install LEDs on everything is not LED?
I’ve seen that availability on the RAV4 through Toyota where you can switch out your interior lights to LEDs. I would think you could do it with the Highlander too
So are you able to control the headlight "brights" manually or is it only automatic? Also, NOT being able to dim the dash lights is just plain stupid? Cmon Toyota!
Yes you can control the brights manually if with the automatic function. The headlight icon with an “a” inside of it dictates whether the high beams are automatic or not. If that button isn’t pressed and illuminated, they’re fully manual control like normal with the headlight stalk. Someone commented saying the ambient light can be turned off through some settings in the screen but that also turns off interior lights when the door opens. The gauge cluster and screen brightness are easy to control though
Just got our 2022 Venza XLE. Headlights are annoying. When on high beams they look normal. When on low beams the line accross the horizon is too low and short. Pray that an animal doesn't run in front of me because I won't see it in time to stop. The vision field is too short. Wish we had taken a test drive at night. This doesn't seem safe. Also there is no place to set your phone, your garage door opener or anything else in the console. The console is set too far back. And please note, because we didn't, the XLE this year doesn't come with the electric passenger seat like it did last year Toyota changed their packages.
To bad Toyota has chosen to use Fake Leather AKA Vinyl or in this case more correctly PU-Leather which stands for Polyurethane bonded imitation leather for the seating and trimmings. It's a sad letdown that they couldn't even use a lower grade of Real Leather in the Venza , as they don't want to step on the Lexus Brand for their Luxury offerings. But really... Your channel's night reviews are my favorite! Great video. 👍
Thank you very much and I’m happy to hear that!
Love these night reviews, I wish more people did this I really enjoy seeing the headlight performance, it's definitely helpful.
Thank you showing me Venza's night driving. That's is exact what I wanted see.... ^ ^
The interior is very nice and I like that magic panoramic sunroof. Thank you Nolan 😊

Thank you! That’s awesome and I’m happy to hear it!

could you tell my how much cost it cost please ??
Thanks in advance
@@baderhazena5732 It was almost $43k, but I paid $36k

@@JSil312 How were able to negotiate the price that much? Toyota usually has that no haggle policy so its hard to negotiate much.
I wish Toyota allows LED color change interior rather than just blue.
Night video though, subcribed.
Me too, thank you! 😁
I like the way you edit the video, making the vehicle look way more premium for the price and standing.
Even the Highlander does not have interior led lights, this venza is way nicer than all Toyota's period!

the 55 cubic feet has to be cap. when i went to dealship and sat in it, it felt like WAY more
Toyota should've put the rear blinker lights in the same area as where the led bar is. The low blinker light might not be seen by some...
Great review!! As I get older I don’t see well at night (but am rarely out driving) so this is important to me!
I liked the interior lighting.

Out of these four which you like best. CX-5 Signature, Hyundai Tucson Hybrid Limited, Toyota Venza, or Kia Sorento X-line ?
Very informative review on safety, wonder how this compares with the Rav 4 Hybrid XLE?
IIHS standards determine what Manufacturers can do with their headlight brightness and aiming.

Does the heads up display show navigation prompts (turn right in 200 ft, etc) if that was enabled?
Where is the 12v dc output is located in this car
Do you have any night reviews on volvos or jaguars?
Why do car manufacturers move the rear turn signal? KEEP IT WITH THE REST OF THE LIGHTS
For looks. But tbh, I still give big props to Toyota for making them LED, separate, and most importantly amber
Really wish the rear blinkers were higher up. Easier to see.
