I've seen yunker 2, 3, 4, 5 and I think 6. What are the differences between these models? Any ideas where there is more info on these. Also any idea if they are UK legal? I'm guessing yes because it's made by umarex (?) and they used to sell them in the UK at one point
Hello Onzy, I have two one is a cybergun AK47 that works the same as the old Yunker 3 where the co2 valve etc is contained in the magazine. I also own a AK 74 Afghan Junker 4 which houses the CO2 in the receiver. These air guns are fully UK legal as they are produced in the factory as airguns. There is a difference between the Cyberguns and the Junker. The Junker is far higher quality. In saying that the Cybergun is very good and is a good shooter. The Junker is more of a collector piece and the prices reflect this. Check out Rusmilitary they are UK based and the Cyberguns are readily available. If you ask Oleg at Rusmilitary he will look for a Junker for you but importing from Russia is not possible right now........Be prepared to pay if you want a Junker, especially if you want one put together for you such as some of the models he builds. He does build custom pieces from the Cyberguns which makes them a nicer piece, again be prepared to pay !
Hi @@svy99n , Yes I've already spoken to Oleg but he isn't expecting to get any in any time soon. It's really a shame that they can't be imported because I found quite a lot of them up for sale on russian airgun forums and sites and they are pretty bloody cheap too even with the shipping charges and import taxes! I would imagine it will require quite a bit of fortune for the gun to even turn up though let alone not have to explain things to a squadron of coppers.
@@onzy2972 Yes for buying the actual air rifle it is definitely better to buy directly in the UK to be safe. There are many cases of people purchasing from outside the UK and then finding themselves in trouble. If anyone can find one for you it would be Oleg. They are good fun air rifles to shoot and a bit of a curio.
@@YoepToepOriginal The Yunker 4 has the Co2 unit attached to the receiver and then the Magazine fits over the top of it. Its not a problem just a slight change in the design. The co2 unit is attached to the the receiver with a pin. The Cyber gun uses the same design as the Yunker 3 where the Co 2 bulb is housed in the magazine. This is the only difference between the Yunker 3 and 4. I think the MS and SU if new will more than likely be based on the Yunker 4. I am more than happy with mine. Let me know if I can be of more help.
I do not know, but I read somewhere that one of the Russian factories that makes real AKs is making 4,5mms replicas using real steel parts from the real ones. And ( maybe the same factory ) is making the Makarov pistol using real steel parts. The brand of any of these products, I do not know. There are some people from Russia here in Portugal, and from Ukraine too. So I could ask them, but most of them are very "closed" people. Etc... 😢
Hi I've just bought a yunker 3 ,no instructions but I can figure most of it out.....can anyone tell me what the button on left side marked KAA 4.5 is for?
@@munkbok Hi I was invited to purchase some guns from an airgun collection,the Yunker was part of it I offered £100 and the seller accepted, I only fired about 100 rounds through it,now swapped it for a Luger, much happier with the Luger. I know where the Yunker is though

Have the ability to get a 6mm one at 4.3 joules no rifling no hop-up dont know if its gonna be worth it.BBs will fly all over the place I guess

They're made in Russia at the Izhevsk factory, same place as the real version. Yes they're UK legal as far as I'm aware

Any chance these pieces are still compatible with a real AK since they’re from factory? Russian imports are banned in the U.S. 😢

It's not a button, it's a latch that holds the stock in place when it's folded sideways.
