YES!!! I caved and got the air wrap because of the hype. When I first got it I kept trying because I thought I just didn't have the technique down. Before I knew it my return window was closed and I was stuck with a $600 tool that left me looking puffy/frizzy. With such a steep price tag Dyson should really stand by their product and have a larger return window 🙄Thank you for speaking the truth!

So just a hairdresser opinion here…but heat is heat, so if they’re around the same temperature, there is no real difference in the damage you can get via blow dryer (air wrap) versus curling/smoothing iron. In my opinion, some hair types will actually get more damage using the Bristled “round brush” attachment because of the friction. So go ahead and use what works best (at a temperature recommended for your hair fabric) 🙌

Well then the issue is it definitely doesn’t get hot enough to keep a curl. Either way definitely not worth the price tag in my opinion 🥴💜🤗

Hi, Aileen! Thank you for sharing! I tried the Airwrap a couple times (I borrowed it from a friend) and it didn't work for me either. I'm also hair lazy and this took a lot of time. I have thick hair and it took just as long as styling with any other tool.
Wow. I’m surprised it didn’t work for you considering your hair is thicker and most likely hold a curl better than mine would. I don’t mind the time it takes to do it once, but having to do it daily would is a definite negative for me. Thanks for watching 💜🤗

That is a bummer this device does not hold the curlmfir more than 6 hours. I wash my hair very 5-6 days so I need to last longer. Thank you for your review 💖💓

I have the air wrap and never use it. I bought it because of the hype, even though I was told it doesn't hold a curl, I had to try for myself. When I did use it, it didn't hold a curl but I also don't ever reach for it just because it seems like to much work and it takes up too much space. Overall a real disappointment.
Same! I bought it because I just needed to know what all the hype was about. It holds a curl more if the hair is wet, but definitely not a whole day. It is a huge component to store. I was disappointed too 💜 thanks for sharing 🤗

I’m very disappointed with the Dyson. I bought it 6 months and for me it doesn’t hold the curl for too long. Such an expensive tool and now I’m stuck with it. Complete fail for me.
Oh no!!!! I am so sorry that you can’t return it. That’s was my experience as well, but due to the hype I just had to continue to try it different ways to confirm. After 2 weeks of continuous use o knew it was not me. Thank you for sharing your experience 💜🤗
