A lot of nuance to his acting. And hers. When she offered him the gun the old Todd would have ripped it out of her hands aggressively. He's changed over the years and his attempt to wrestle it back from her was more like a kid trying to take something from his mom. And Blair trying to save him from himself...❤
Gotta love todd blaming Blair for letting Victor come in & take over. Basically he felt Blair of all people should have known & I know what dna said but Blair should have went w/ her gut. It also bugged me that victior after he died was white washed all the bad things he still did Todd or not. He believed he was Todd so setting up a love shack w/ Marty is still his fault. Waiting to kidnap hope is his fault. Throwing starr so hard she went downstairs is his fault. Suddenly cause he was made to believe he was Todd doesn't forgive all he did from 2003 to 2011
Always liked Todd the character except for of course in the very beginning... Victor was more cold and distant. Todd had the warmth and the humor that Victor didn't have. Very different in demeanor and appearance.
Todd fusses at Blair here but the next time they are together really shows their strong connection. Todd contacts Blair to save his life. It must have been really scary for both of them when she removed the bullet in him. He put an enormous amount of trust in her and she came through. Ultimately, what a strong bond between them!
Damn kristen Alderson 's acting stepped up really high here. It's like with Roger's return I see glimpses of the old starr. This starr used to cower in victor Jr's presence but now that her real dad was back she stepped up to him big time. She was all " do it tea !" With fire. I love it. Victor jr deserved a lot worse from Starr he treated her like total garbage.
@@1dbhsaita! DanYella lol was annoying. I also really hated the rapid aging of kids on soaps. When todd left Jack was only a year old. He should have stayed around 9 not 16. Worse Dani was born in 03 offscreen she should only have been 6 when they introduced her not 15. So that's why aged jack b/c people were noticing jack in 09 was still played by a younger child ( too bad the actor looked like Roger) my theory is Trevor was vocal he was brought on as walker. He didn't sign on to be a todd recast. I agree. Roger left b/c he was upset w/ the writing hated Micheal malone was returning that's why he left in 95 b/c the guy was turning him into a romantic lead & martys new boyfriend good for rh that he was disturbed. I mean luke & Laura was creepy. It was a brutal rape of a older man her boss fans went wild & he was turned into the mayor married Laura became world famous. They had to backtrack & make Laura sat she really wanted it. Ick. At least I guess it was one in one while Todd led a Eben more brutal crime a game rape. Anyway Roger was young good looking & could act. Plus winning the Emmy w/ Susan really was like major scrambling. Again rh was amazing that he never got why todd had to be so wonderful. Anyway back to my point Trevor was annoyed that he was locked in & suddenly theu made him a todd recast. Obviously he kept re signing b/c he liked being on the show but I think he resented playing todd. So he wanted to make todd his very own. That meant wrecking his relationships in his acting choices w/ Blair starr viki & Jesse. Todd's favorite people. He treated starr terribly was indifferent to jack ( the recast hack was a horrible actor & his hatred of rhs todd was very annoying ) so Trevor pushed any other female love interest. Evangeline Kelly ( like todd would ever w/ Kelly) Marty ( everyone's final clue this is not todd !) Than he pushed hard todd & tea. Rh's todd I feel liked tea around but was never over Blair. On that island right after he slept w/ tea he immediately wanted to run back to Blair & the kids on a raft. So I think Trevor's todd did have chemistry w/ tea again loved that pairing had no interest in todd & blairs kids so they created Dani as the daughter he actually was closer too. I mean hello he shoved starr so hard she went down stairs & he didn't care. Of course todd would have killed Cole lol but never ever would have had a Romance w/ Marty or plotted to steal hope & let starr think she died. Or would allow Jessica to run around mentally ill. Viki forgave all that. So they wanted Dani to be like his starr since her character was added & had zero dealings w/ rhs todd. If the show was smart if they wanted a new rivalry w/ Blair & tea like a younger Dorian & viki they should have kept the younger jack & given tea a younger son & have Blair & tea trying to push Todd's male heirs to be the ones to takeover. Cause they already didn't know what to do w/ also rapidly aged starr who was only 2 when they recast a 7 year old KA. I always hated the rapid aging of kids. Like seeing todd & Blair talk about being grandparents was weird. Then when tea had Victor the 3rd sadly who died Dani was college aged. Tea also looked a bit young to have a college aged child. I was happy they insta righted all the wrongs however todd didn't now need an older teen daughter. Also when they made Trevor grandpa the actor was in his early to mid 30s! So yes I agree 1000% Dani was unnecessary. They could gave given todd a baby.
Todd never again blames Blair for accepting Victor but this scene was a fun reminder of the past. They fight and yell but just under the surface, there's a strong, long lasting connection between them. The next time they spend any time together is when Todd contacts Blair to rescue him. She's the one he wants to save his life after he's been shot by Irene. Blair removes the bullet. That scene clearly conveys how deep the connection between them really is and also the trust Todd has in her in spite of their troubled past!
Victor Jr. should have known that the real Todd would go straight to Starr with the news, that he would have wanted her to be the first to know, not last. The only other person that Todd would gone to first other than Starr is Vikki & the only reason why he didn't was because Vikki was there when the truth was revealed. I never understood why Victor was so shocked that Starr new the truth from the real Todd Manning when he spent the last eight years believing that he was his brother to the point where he was brainwashed into thinking like Todd & having all of his memories, in fact Starr was the first person (and only person) that he told who he really was (only now it's who he believed he was: Aka her "father Todd") when he first appeared as Walker Lawerance and it was their own secret for a long time.
What was blair thinking by showing todd everything he missed & victor in all the pictures. Did Blair not think it would make him really upset & remind him in photos about everything he missed. She obviously thought it was a good idea but it was like rubbing salt in his wounds.
Right? I couldn’t stand how Ron wrote Blair, I never really thought he knew how. She would have had more sense than to show Todd a bunch of pictures starring Victor. She ALSO would have had more sense than to date Tomas after finding out what he did. It didn’t matter whether he knew what he was doing, dude was literally responsible for Todd being imprisoned for 8 years and took a photo out of his bloody hands and painted the woman he took everything from.
@@cheetahinireland18Absolutely 100% right! This is how I felt about a lot of the storylines. It's like the writers had to blame Todd for absolutely everything and it often was really unfair. Although I understand it wasn't Blair's fault, I understand why he was so angry and wondered why none of the people he loves would have known it wasn't him! Also they weren't empathetic enough with him that he lost 8 years and not only lost 8 years but was tortured for 8 years. They acted like that was no big deal because he was Todd and maybe he deserved it. I can't believe she would even consider dating Tomas and make excuses for him because he didn't know all the details of the torture. He knew there was torture going on. It was a real betrayal of Todd for her to be with Tomas. Just didn't like the tone that they took.
I used to watch this show from the mid 80's off and on up until the cancelled it for chew show. then they cancelled that lol. too bad the show had some pretty good stories and acting
The opposite for me. I was really happy to see RH back as Todd Manning. I like his wit especially, his acting and his looks. I find TSJ attractive but a bit wooden.
Both these actors were incredible. Victor made me cry when he said "I wish I was Todd Manning."
I love Todd's, "Hell yeah, I do" and the fight over the gun!! Very Todd-like and hilarious!

Yes, cold and borderline abusive
So, Victor's, only child, is Sam.
Yes, Sam is Victor's only son.
@@timothymoore6341 I do feel bad for tea that she lost victor III. I think all the stress of thinking victor jr was dead.
They need to make Dani Victor’s or Ross’s kid as well. The addition of this character was not needed.
