- Chimney Rock Trail is a popular off road and camping area. The highlight of the trail is the beautiful Chimney Rock formation Most people enter from the easier south side. The trail described here comes in the lesser-used back way. Leave gates as you find them. The corridor along Redington Road is heavily used. Weekends are very busy. Much of trail follows a narrow, rocky wash with very tight brush. Good articulation, high ground clearance and skid plates recommended. Aggressive stock vehicles can make it but brush will likely scratch new paint. Route-finding is confusing at times so GPS is helpful. I still haven't gone to that many yet but my fav are Chimney Rock, Chiva Falls and Tucson Wash. If you wanna drive a bit further up to Florence, Box Canyon is an amazing trail!
Hey I’ve been there! How do you get there from the backside? The only way I know is from Tanque Verde, Redington pass!

Is it more fun to enter from the backside or exit through the backside? I like to climb Hills more than go down them
I'm honestly not sure. This was the only time that Ive ran the tail. It would be pretty fun to go up the one rocky hill though.

I don’t have an opinion on Icon, but the name come from the fact that my Jeep is a Sport and not a Rubicon. So Rubicon only Not = Noticon
