We lost another mountain lion yesterday on the 405 and it makes me sick to about losses like that.

They played, they slept, and I didn’t bother them and they didn’t bother me although we knew each other were there. Put in a pool for them in the woods they can use I know people love these videos if some kids are out there suprise that bear could end badly for both. I would put up electric fencing to keep them out so they just stay away from people. I don't want them to end up getting shot that is what will happen.

Actually that is a good point as far as wondering if the chlorine and salt or other chemicals they use to shock the pool with doesn't act as some kind of rinsing or drying agent for common skin and fur infestations, fungal stuff, or just dirt and dander that makes them itch at some point.
I noticed the bear didn’t shake off the water after getting out of the pool. Smart bear! He(?) knows that letting the water just dry slowly will keep him cooler longer.

It’s amazing a whole ton of dirt doesn’t come off him when he gets in the water. Clean bear. He’s been there before he knew where the steps were.
