Thank you for contributing more videos Nando, always on the lookout for your new videos. I couldn't agree with you more - "If You Like It Wear It". I see a lot of "Wanna Be Watch Moguls" fall in to that trap of only condoning High End Brands and then getting stuck for content due to budget restrictions. There really are some fine horological examples out there that don't have a big price. All the best and will be on the lookout for more videos from you.
The best thing I ever did was to stop frequenting forums, I enjoy my watches so much more now. Oh, and I got my first Invicta, a Swiss made prodiver in gold tone with blue dial and bezel for €100. Beautiful quality and keeps excellent time, and to give you an idea about my experience with quality, I own a Grand Seiko. I loath the investment thing, I wish those people would go buy gold bars and leave the watches to those who love them!
Great video man. You sort of woke me up in this video. So easy to get caught up with watch snobbery and the whole value retention thing. Had no clue you had a Spanish channel but I found it and subbed. Will check it out.
Good to hear this. I am saving up for a Seiko turtle whether I get there dunno, not high end but definitely up there for me. I watch your channel not to see high end expensive out of reach watches but just to enjoy a good looking watch and learn something about it. Dream of course about getting a grail expensive watches but yet again I dream about getting all kinds of watches be it digital, quartz and mechanical new or vintage. Look forward to your new direction in this channel.
Good to see you back Brother! I agree 100% too much snobbery and Brand hate ! Buy and enjoy what you like and can afford ! Doesn’t have to be a Rolex or Patek ! Also too many UA-cam watch and strap vendors That don’t disclose the free watch or Straps they get and then Review ! All the BS got to me too..........
Agree I talk about companies I like and most of the time i get nothing but the satisfaction of sharing my favorite company's with you guys, example Ebay, Jomashop
Excelente discurso.
Great at last a bit of common sense when you have a hobby it normally costs money to partake if you play golf or go fishing or go sailing there is no financial reward why should enjoying watches be any different
I agree about just loving watches. At night i go to sleep and just be thinking of what watch to wear the next day haha...do you brother do you love your videos saludos hermano!!!
Great to have you posting videos again. I missed your content, talk about what you want, what makes you happy. Frankly , I'm getting bored with Rolex chatter, I have 2 , I am not sure I want another. I'd like to have some ideas of other watches I might like to add to my collection.
Great to see you back! My favourite watch video ever is the one where you compare a movado to Constantine, showed the small beautiful dials that are super high value as they are 30mm. That is the best as it shows beautiful watches that most of us could actually afford and would love to have, if we were lucky enough to spot one. Vintage and rare but we could enjoy. Would love to see more of those vids!
Hey Fernando, really glad you are back! I really like your spirit regarding vintage watches and that you are into watches for the history and design of watches, like me and not the "investment" and "resale" value or "snob" appeal of brands. Maybe you can script a quick sentence or 2 that you use at the beginning of each of your videos to re-enforce the theme of your channel. That it's not about investing in watches and resale value. Kind of re-enforces your brand and tells us what is different (better) about "Collecting Vintage Watches". For real watch lovers.
Welcome back bro. I buy what I like regardless of price. Of course a lot of things I like I can't afford but it is what it is . I Buy Sinn, Seiko, Doxa, Zenith , Omega, and looking at Blancpain for my next piece. It doesn't have to have the R name on it for me to be happy.
Welcome back! I think you preach to the right flock here ;) I agree with you on this 100%. Looking forward to future videos: more watch, less value talk.
Great to see you back mate! Thanks god - at least someone tells the truth 🙏 Collecting, no matter which kind of „stuff“, is all about fun, enjoyment,.... and in my case also the hunt - it’s just a hobby!!!!! I hate all this snobbery, the talk about investment and future wins „this watch will rise in value., that is a shitter.......“ blablabla - I really cannot hear it anymore 😡 Hobbies cost money - would eg. a golfer or tennis player talk about his membership fee or tennis racket as an investment? 😉 Please stay online, share your passion with us PLEASE and don’t care about all the „would like“ watch collectors and haters! You did and will do an incredible great job - I always enjoy your healthy, grounded, experienced opinion and knowledge 😍 All the best - god bless you!
Good to see you again. When it comes to vintage watches, your the best. I purchased your Gruen “Red Eye Panda,” one of my valued vintage pieces. I’ll be hitting one of the vintage car shows in your town, look me up, I’ll be showing my 57 Pontiac ambulance. You can’t miss it.
You gotta do what you enjoy, otherwise what is the point. I have 3 Invicta's myself and been very happy with them, that goes equally for my vintage Swistar's & my 15 year old Titanium Citizen ecodrive.
The Man of Sapphire, Mineral or Acrylic is back !!!!!!!! Welcome back and talk you heart out. Sorry to hear you let the negative comments get to you. But just like Superman, he took a break and came back for his right individual reasons and was better for it.
Ahora veo los dos canales Fernando, aunque en el canal de inglés aveces no entiendo algunas palabras u oraciones jajajaja pero que se le hace... es pasión por los relojes.
Glad to hear your hands haven't fallen off.
And happy to report that invicta for $60 is not to shabby
Good for you!! Awesome
Thank you

I've had a lot of fun buying up and fixing quartz watches. Way easier to replace the movement if its broken, and if I screw up it costs very little

I only like 1 Rolex watch, I can enjoy a watch from many brands, even Pocket Watches:)
and that's the fun in collecting having the pleasure of a few brands and not breaking the bank
I’m still picking off original vintage Seikos from the Bay. The only thing is they are getting more expensive. But it is so much fun!
Great video man. You sort of woke me up in this video. So easy to get caught up with watch snobbery and the whole value retention thing. Had no clue you had a Spanish channel but I found it and subbed. Will check it out.
