In y experience, the black enamel is less sticky than the white one.

If I were to buy an enameled dutch oven, which I wouldn't, I'd get the staub over the le creuset because of the black interior. From the videos I've seen of the le creuset pieces, the interiors stain after several years and they look terrible. They look dirty even though they're clean. If I need to see browning I would just use a stainless steel pot.

    Great review.
I own a 24 and a 34cm. They work great. Heavy but great. The rim around the top is to prevent hot coals or ice cubes (water if not vaporized) to fall off.
Making this rim more massive could cause problems in the casting process and the material needed.

Hello - Have you ever tested the enamelled cast-iron pots and pans D-series by Copco/Morsø Denmark? I'd love to hear your view on this series. It is indeed a fair standing classic, even in comparison to other well renommed enamelled cast iron pots and pans. In its days it was claimed to be the best,
It was originally designed by Jan Trägårdh for the design company Bernadotte & Bjørn in 1957-59. The design was a smashing succes and has later been stolen by many other designers and companies around the world, incl AGA. The Internet is floated with the misinformation about the origine of this series.

No never heard of that brand before. I'll check it out if I can get my hands on one.
