I can relate in a way because when I had a bunny a couple of years ago a friend came over to my house but her little sister came with her and of course her little sister wanted to go see the bunny so I had to show her and when we were beside her the little sister (she didn't know my bunny and was an unfamiliar person with an unfamiliar sent) stuck her finger inside her cage and obviously if you see a random finger coming into your room you would want to get it out so her natural instincts were to bite the finger so she did and then my parents thought that the bunny was bad so they gave her to my uncle but poor Thumper was only trying to protect her territory. I still got to see her though but she sadly passed about a year or so after as I adopted her when she was a good age any way thanks for reading and if you see this give my love to Lennon😊

My bunny "attacked" me once, he scratched my arm, I was drawing a lot of blood, but a couple minutes later he noticed I was crying and hopped up on my chair and started to lick me in the place that he scratched me. I could tell he was trying to apologize :)

My boyfriend's bunny used to attack me all the time... she wasn't spayed, and he was the only human/animal living with her at the time, so... he was HER man lol. The first time I came over to his apartment, she ripped up everything I touched. When he used to go visit family out of state, I'd go feed her and every time I walked in the door she would lunge at me and grunt lololol. Eventually I won her over with veggies, though!

Rabbits are funny, loving, smart, clean, cozy, and very sweet to have as pets.
As with any animal, learn as much about them before purchasing. Be responsible and take care of your pet and the rabbit will be with you for many, many years. I had my rabbit for nine years and enjoyed him so much. He, of course, died of old age.

Yup, I had to laugh when you said, "Only bunny people will understand." We had this happen, and the hell hath no fury of our little darling bunny when she smelled another rabbit on us was terrifying. She attacked and then pouted for 24 hours, and 2 showers/clothing changes. My hand and arm was bloody and bruised (and she's only 2.5 lbs and 4 months old).

This happened to me when I Had Lily my mini lop and brought home an English lop And it hurt her feelings so bad she lunged at me and bit my hand and drew blood and it breaks my heart because she refused to eat and died a couple months later she was brokenhearted. Now the English lop named Lucy bit me on my arm yesterday but did not draw blood just bruised me because I had Covid and did not play with her for a few days💔😂I love Lily dearly. And I’ve been giving extra attention to Lucy

My rabbit just passed away after three years, but one time i took my rabbit out to play for a bit and saw another rabbit and tryed to help it because it looked like it was in pain so i went down and to feed it and it lunged at me then my rabbit came around and bit the "stray" to protect me. I was so proud of him, and now i miss him more than ANYTHING
How did it die. And I am so sorry for your loss. Earlier this year my pet crested gecko and on of my cats passed in the same week.

I was laying on the floor, everything was fine, then my baby springs a binkie into the air, sprints across the room at my face, forgets to slow down, so instead, she pops her front end up and belly flops on my head. We were both so confused for a second, then she flopped over and just laid there for another quarter of an hour. Oh! And she's 17 pounds, so I almost died of suffocation by bunny belly. Lmao

Rabbits are amazing. She's my real first rabbit (had 2 "Easter bunnies" as a little kid with Autism and ADHD, but those didn't work out for obvious reasons, none of which were the poor rabbits' faults). I thought rabbits were unintelligent, excessively skittish, animals that only ever bit, scratched and pooped. 2.5 years ago, I was looking for a therapy/support animal to help with my anxiety problems, and rabbits kept coming up. I did research, now an adult, and found that one might be exactly what I wanted. Since it was my first, I was looking for a light colored male Holland lop (4-6lbs). I read they were docile and they were cute as hell! A small rabbit would be easier to handle and house, males are said to be much more snuggly and calm, and I had always owned black animals, so I figured I'd get something brighter. I had talked to professional breeders (because I was completely new to rabbits and looking for a very particular personality, I really needed one that was without behavior or health problems/issues and could be trained in a specific way, rescue for me in this situation was not an option) and I did MONTHS of research on diets, heath, behaviors, grooming, bonding, how to rabbit proof (as I need my rabbit to be free-roaming to reach me any time to help me with panic and anxiety attacks), training, breeds, vet care including spay and neutering, EVERYTHING. I was dead set on a male Holland lop in either caramel color or gray and white. I had a shitty day at work, and saw on the bulletin board (I worked at a Tractor Supply Co feed'n'grain store) and someone had baby Flemish. I was like, "Screw this day. I'm gonna go pet bunnies. I know I won't get one, because I definitely don't want one so big and they're all black. Not what I wanted, so no problem." So I called the guy, told him honestly what's up, and he's like, "No problem. Just come pet 'em." Drive there, pet bunnies for 40 minutes and get ready to leave. I swear, it was as easy as I planned. But then the guy says "Well, do you wanna just take one to make you feel better, then bring it back when you want?" Shit, hell yeah I did. So I do. And its this tiny black ball of shivering fur, and I'm cooing and trying to calm it down, and it works. Little thing falls asleep in my lap. I have done foster work with animals all my life. Cute did not win me over any more. I could take care of kittens and puppies and ferrets for weeks and adopt them out without a sniffle. Ice cold. So I get home and my bedroom was already rabbit proffed waiting for my future cute light-colored male Holland lop. I let it down, and I just kinda chill, it exploring like a senior detective. 2 weeks go by, and I'm thinking to myself, "If it's gonna be free-roaming anyway, size doesn't really matter, right? And at least black matches my cat..." So I take it to the vet. If its a girl, I take it back, a boy I keep (we hadn't sexed it). Vet says girl, I say fine, and head towards the guys house to return her. I'm halfway there, and look down, not realizing I'd been petting her the whole way, and she looked up at me... 2.5 years later, and I've never been happier.
