I can spiritually feel the honesty and integrity of this man called Tsatsu Tsikata. The Almighty God has truly blessed you. No human being can take this quality from you. When orders come from such a personality in the Supreme Court no one will certainly have problem with such orders. God must give us such a person as a CJ.
He is a human being and, worse of all, politically exposed. I can see him calmly defending an opposite argument if he was paid to do so. It is called legal training.
Sir, I have followed your legal exploits since your days as a law lecturer and an advocate in Ghana. Your brilliance in the profession, together with Dr Botchwey became an inspiring threshold for me, even as an American student then who was used to researching andd following Africa's jurisprudence. You are an icon. God bless you.

We've had so many Chief Justices come and go- Anin -Yeboah, Akuffo, Wood etc. And none of them has shown so much disregard for court rules and open indictment of other institutions than Torkornoo has, am I wrong?
I think question to Lawyer Tsikata also should have been if the speaker was right in declaring the minority as majority based on the intentions/declaration of the members of parliament who wants to go independent in future.
Nana Addo knows why he appointed the CJ. She is so partisan that she doesn't realize when she is displays her party colors. Even a baby looking at her behavior can tell where her allegiance is.
CJ Torkornoo whom l learnt is a reverend minister could misconduct herself in a way that even unbelievers wouldn’t is a shameful to Christendom Either she or Akuffo Addo likes it or not Ghanaians will resist LGBTQ+++ in our society
Considering the enormous powers granted the Courts, especially the The Supreme Court, the framers of the Constitution were wrong in the process they prescribed for the selection or appointment of members of the courts. The Executive should never have been given such power in the appointment process especially since we all know that Parliament is merely a rubber stamp of the wishes of the Executive. The constitutional process in appointing members of the Courts must be amended to enhance objectivity in this very important institution.
Our constitution needs a review for amendment. If any aquired a seat in parliament through a party must be stable through until that seat is lost through elections in the sense of majority and and minority in parliament . A person shouldnt be allowed to defect with their seat in parliament to avould foul play and corrupt politics . An mp could defect but not with his original seat. We cant turn our parliamentary power into ogbogblo tots .
The likes of Akufo-Addo hated him cuz he is more knowledgeable than him. Went to Oxford law on merit, Nana Addo on the other hand based on affluence from his daddy
Major failures in the economy, governance, environmental stewardship, human rights, ethnic cohesion, public security/safety issues and perversion of justice et al.
Watching this whole drama of misinterpretation of a simple article in your constitution written in simple English as a lawyer is very laughable. Firstly, nobody is even talking about the intent of the framers of the document which will undoubtedly be a good referral point for clarity to whoever is in doubt. I suggested before that why don't the doubting Thomases go into archives to dig out the Hansard notes to edify your misguided points? Furthermore, your judiciary seems to have a preconceived agenda to simply ignore the procedurality of your legislature's rules of conduct, aiming to supplant the powers of an independent arm of government, probably micromanaged by powerful goons in the executive. The judiciary is pliable by its acts which violate the simple norm of power separation. Thus, all the punditry, opinions and abstruse takes of commentators on the meaning of a simple article that a kindergarten kid can explain lend themselves out as theatrics, borne especially out of the fact that a whole AG betrays his ignorance of law by publicly pronouncing that an article in a constitution is "unconstitutional" and a court of law imbibe such chicanery. And by the way, the same constitution provides a provision for bye-election under one circumstance and another for carpet crossing. If the former is good for play, why is the latter not? The question for all those political hatchet nutjobs to answer is when is article 19 and it's subsections of your constitution applicable? I used to respect a retired justice Atuguba very much until he made a bizarre statement that the speaker should obey your compromised supreme Court ruling. The interpretation of law (and for that matter a constitution) is not the preserve of judges and lawyers, an ordinary man with common sense can do it. And that is why I would cite the Senegalese Constitutional Court as an example of independent judicial finesse and excellence. It curbed the excesses of a president (Sall) that wanted to embrace tyranny. Ghana supreme Court doesn't come close. Learn from that.
You think anyone has the ability to become president? Him being a lawyer in itself should tell you he don't have the ability to create jobs and run a whole economic system.

A case can stay in Ghana court for 8 years without judgement. That cannot happen here in the US, with its 350 million population.

But Prof Mills unable t9 prosecute the NPP, especially Koffour appointees, and they feel they're clean 👌 but they are absolutely not at all 😊😢

The supreme court can depart from its own precedent. It's not completely bound like he's explaining.
On good reasons not anyhow
KT Harmond and Maurice Apaw should come here and learn authentic law
