When I’m using sequin on the trim, i dont use elastic at all. Ill only use elastic if there’s nothing on the hem…..and with dance wear like this, i dont use seam allowance at all. I typically cut everything true to their size or if i want a really snug fit, ill cut it an inch smaller.
Beautiful!
You are the Goat!!!!
Where u get the leg warmers
I dont have a surger so if i use my regular sewing machine would i use a zig zag or straight stitch to sew the mesh and fabric pattern together?
@@boojeecloset I would use a med zig zag and double sew it
@@901.design6 thank you. What does double sew mean?
Watching you sew is soo therapeutic, and educational too! 💕 What needle are you using when sewing across the sequins or does it matter.
I really use any needle, but the heavy duty needles dont break as often as the universal needles…..if at all
Is this a 4 way stretch fabric?
Yes it is
@@901.design6Thank you! I just saw you on TikTok. Now here! Ayeee I like that
Question. So you replace the elastic at the edges as a hem? And do you add seam allowance if you use this method?

What type of stitch are you using sewing the sequin on (straight or zigzag)?
I use zig zag, so it allows for stretch
