Thanks for sharing your method of nail repair. I have now tested this on my i' nail for the past three months since you posted this and it works extremely well,is long lasting and has only a minimal effect on the flexibility on the nail.
cool vid ... I'm looking for vids on this subject and found this. You said you were opening a door and this happened ~ I've become more conscious of doing things with the right hand but a short while ago, when I was bringing in some firewood from the stack, I grabbed a piece (with work gloves on too) and it slipped in my grip so the thumb nail got cracked. Now I only grab the wood with the left hand and put it under my right arm to carry .... so many little things to become aware of LOL! I don't know how those world record holders with the curling foot long nails do it haha
It does beg the question of if one could do this process on all of the right hand nails as a preventative means of strengthening the nails against breakage in the first place. Any thoughts?
@@kevinrgallagherguitarist is that because the nail repair can cause long term damage? Will it be safe to use infrequently? or will it change my nails permanently?
thank you! i noticed your cat dropped in... maybe to inspect the work you did on your nail... or the cat left the room because it didn't like the tone of the new nail:)

Hmmm. I've always used acrylic, but it's a pain to work with acrylic. Your way looks much easier. I think I'll get some of this. Thanks for the tip.
Thank you Kevin!

I wouldn't put glue on the nail unless it was for a repair, but you can certainly try it.

But the crack will not heal itself under the product, will it? I have had similar problem.
The nail, extending beyond the nail bed, is dead and cannot heal.
Great tip, thanks
