This is amazing :). Similar to bonsai is all I can think of to explain why this hobby is so addicting and feels so good even just to watch other people’s toys (models) running around. Something about it and when you get a layout this immersive it’s just a pleasure. Thank you very much for the hard work and the vision and for sharing :)
That roundhouse was recently restored and now the remaining locomotives and cars are being worked on. I hope that museum gets popular with all the new activity!
@@crownironman Yeah I live in the North woods. Sadley there is very little left of it. There is #5 the 1925 2-8-0 Baldwin and the Business car. They dummied up a log car, and the 3 pieces, are displayed at Pioneer park in Rhinelander
Every time I see one of these videos there's always a couple of guys speaking as loud as they can to ruin the scene... Just sayin'... You have more patience than I do. Good stuff, thanks for posting...👍👍👍

I live about a mile from the real Quincy mine and this very close to the original. Out buildings and all. The ore cars are spot on. Great work.

This layout was featured in Great Model Railroads 2024 - definitely nice to get some video of it!
Very nice layout and equipment. Thanks for sharing with us.
Great looking layout, I had modeled the Robbins/ Thunder Lake RR here in northern WI
funny you should say that, I was just reading that book yesterday. The family cabin is in northern Wisconsin so I find the areas history interesting.
