It’s always advisable to invest judiciously, keep a stop loss figure. Shuffle between debt and equity wherever the ratio goes too off your target. As for the target, I recommend a Ratio like this Debt % should be equal to your age in years. If you are 20, debt is 20%, reset in equity. If the market falls or rises drastically, your debt % will change, which you should rebalance to 20% and bring back equity to 80%. Thus you would have bought low or booked profit depending on if it was a crash or a bull run, you still have the chance to improve you financial level by following Sandy Barclays program.
Your strategy is a fantastic example of a well-thought-out plan! Pairing dividend stocks with a buy-and-hold approach positions you for long-term success, and it's clear you've put in the effort to research. However, I believe working with expert advisors could elevate your results even further. They can provide valuable insights, help manage risks, and fine-tune your strategy to maximize your returns.
I agree, though I understand why some might be skeptical of financial advisors. In my case, mine has consistently delivered, growing my portfolio by over $1 million over the past decade through smart diversification. Achieving financial security is my goal, and I’m pleased with the results.

This is a bad video. Schd is taxed as qualified dividends. What happens when you sell a share of your growth company? You realize a gain and get taxed. More than you would get taxed with schd. Both dividend and growth investing is great and should be used. This “tax drag” myth is tired and honestly not true, at least when it comes to schd.
SCHD is great for people who have already aggressively built up a large portfolio through their younger life and are looking to slow down and enjoy the fruits. If you’re under 40, it doesn’t really make a whole lot of sense.
The thumbnail is completely clickbait but the content is pretty solid -even though I watched the video, clickbait thumbnails really diminish trust in a channel - cash grab vs pure content unfortunately which seems the way to go for a lot of content creators these days
Of course , the assessment that if companies are paying a dividend means they don't know how to reinvest their cash is not correct, apple and msft have been playing a dividend and growing
Depends on your age and goals. If you’re young and generate active income with time on your side to rebound from a crash, your video makes sense. If you’re retired living off your investments, you’re missing the point of dividends. Dividends are like receiving a rent payment.

It takes millions of dollars to just make 70,000 a year in dividends and most of us will never see millions of dollars in our investment accounts. Wishful thinking but 90 percent of us are starting in our 40s because we didn't care as younger adults. Now we are in panic mode trying to cram as much as possible. Paul I have a question. 🖐 How do you feel about buying dividend stocks bought on leverage [ not on margin ] with options contracts. We get a major discount buying stock derivatives as you know. Thoughts, opinions?😊
if growth is overpriced, and value is cheap, then you buy value and dividends. the problem with companies that don't pay out money is that when they drop in price you might just get nothing except a loss. You are just waiting for the market to bid your stock up which doesn't always happen. When a high paying dividend stock drops then you at least get the dividend and you can reinvest and get more dividends or allocate that money to another opportunity. It provides some flexibility. It is also easier to hold on to a company that pays a dividend because at least you are getting something. There have been long periods of us history when value and dividend paying companies out performed growth.
Title is clickbait- but you do provide some very valuable information especially for young investors- they shouldn’t be investing in low growth dividend stocks- they will never get to the “promised land” doing that
Why not place all your dividend investments into a ROTH IRA so they can reinvest and compound TAX FREE forever? Keep all of your non-dividend stocks invested in taxable accounts.
Uncle Paul, here is the problem... The market is completely out of control right now and people will pay any amount of money for "growth" companies like Tesla, Palantir, and the list goes on and on... I would never chase yield which is a recipe for disaster. This is defintely a stock pickers market (although I still buy index type ETFs every single week for many many years now)....
A mild qualified dividend is actually very tax efficient as it is taxed and the long term capital gains tax. Not to mention a most of the dividend kings offer nice qualified dividends while also offering a less volatile price action which suits a lot of people’s emotions. Not all dividends are qualified so everyone should do their research accordingly. REIT dividends are taxed as ordinary income for example.

Worst video I've ever seen from your channel. Having a diverse long-term ETF portfolio which includes SPY, QQQ and SCHD is brilliant, not a scam.
Thanks for letting us know .AP
zzzz 99% of these dudes are clickbait. Jeremy Lefevbre is the only you tuber that is honest and has made me a killing. His channell is financial education. You are welcome
Very honest and straight the line analysis. Thx greetings from Germany
Thank you pal - GC

Schd isn’t a high yielding fund. This video is bogus

Spy has done much better with dividends reinvested
Good stuff - GC
Nice clickbait. No need for that, come on now.
Tx for following us - GC
I got to 3 minutes before I wanted to puke. Your trash talk about companies paying dividends having no better ideas is about the cheapest argument ever. It also points out the evil inherent in the system. They could always lower prices of their products to generate volume but that would break the golden rule of greed is good. All you really want from this is to buy your stock analyzer subscription... I like your normal content. Please stick to it since you don't get why the lesser fortunate of us like getting that extra check.
Ah an American
This kind of clickbait is sickening, i wan to unsubscribe
Good luck - GC
