The TL:DR of what I originally wrote but UA-cam refused to publish. Is that we are not predators, we are not Man the Hunter and Woman the Gatherer. We are a scavenger Species. Specifically an amphibious scavenger species. One that did not grow up on the planes of Africs, but on a shoreline somewhere living off fresh fish, crustations and vegetables from the sea such as 'sea weeds' not the heavily modified plants we grow today. We also in time moved away from the water and scavenger meat often months after the kill, as for us fresh meat is barely tastes of anything but if left to rot (dry aged) for a month it's flavour improves remarkably. After that as we merged our packs with dogs did we become capable of predation and from their we learn't how to husband our resources such as animals and plants.
