I live in davao... I originally came to live a quiet life and travel... I known of the Aeta. But never met one ..then Recently met and hosted 3 elders & their families. While they traveled through my area.. I want to met the Aeta national chief... get his permission to visit a Aeta village for a extended time..I don't do UA-cam videos.but i write books on my experiences in life.. my experiences are primarily private now...so it's about knowledge of life & living in the ways and traditions I'm interested in the most. A blk American amongst black Filipinos...A Blend the heart,mind & soul. Like a soup every one will want a taste of...and hopefully enjoy...

Negro race is an umbrella definition of multiple races with dark skin and afro hair. Some are genetically different from subsaharan African like those found in the Philippines, Pacific Islands and Indonesian Islands. Even in Africa itself. Africa is I believe the most genetically diverse continent in the world

in the time of American imperialism many of the Native in Luzon brought to America and Hawaii to become slave laborer the Aeta tribe , Dumagat tribe are members of Negritos tribe the Spanish call them Negritos meaning little black person in local language part our language they call nigro also meaning black, same part Luzon Visayas and small group in Mindanao there are many little Black people ,, they are one of the Original people in the Philippines , including the Moro tribes by the way the Muslim in Philippines the Spanish call them Moro people or Moor came to mean anyone who was Muslim or had dark skin; occasionally, Europeans would distinguish between “blackamoors” and "Arab moors " or white Moor live in Europe, is use also in English, a Moroccan ( African Muslim ) or, formerly, a member of the Muslim population
So if you study carefully the history majority in the Philippines are Black skin or light Black ( brown skin )

They are dark in complexion, which misleads some into thinking that they are Africans living in Asia when genetic analysis shows them to be closely related to light-skinned Asians, not Africans. An exonym of these peoples is Negrito, given to them by Spanish missionaries in the Philippines. However, “Negrito” peoples of Asia are not usually related to one another and are often more closely related to surrounding populations than to Negritos in another country. There are exceptions (in the case of Taiwanese aboriginals). The only trait they all share in common are dark skin and short stature (although shorter stature seems to be common in Asians in general).The Aeta are another Negrito group. They tend to have kinky hair and a higher rate of blond hair than any other population in the Philippines and are believed to be one of the earliest original inhabitants of the Philippines.
That's not true. They are closely related to Australian Aboriginals and Melanesians. They are genetically distinct from most Filipinos. The reason they are also genetically distinct from Africans and others is that they left the continent a long time ago and remained geographically isolated until only recently.
Mestiza, You don't have your facts correct. Your comment is what I would consider Eurocentric. First and foremost, Anatomically modern Humans came out of Africa 80 to 50 thousand years ago. That is an Anthropological fact. But you don't have to have an Anthropology degree to understand that. Your comment, "dark complexion" is a lack of understanding of what we Anthropologists would call Adaptation to environmental pressures. Modern Humans who first came out of Africa were all dark skinned peoples. The first anatomically modern Humans were ALL dark skinned peoples. Dark complexion is actually a superior adaptation to help protect the skin from ultraviolet and radioactive photonic particles from the Sun. Only when Humans began living in the northern hemisphere did they begin diminishing their melanin production hence, they began to have lighter skin and mutations in the retina thereby, producing green and finally, blue eyes as well as blond hair. Essentially, blond haired and blue eyes people lack heavy melanin production. All dark skinned peoples of Southeast Asia like the Aeta including the indigenous peoples of Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand and all of Oceania including Melanesians all have genetic origins with the Denisovans. As for the Spaniards, they call every dark skinned peoples they encountered as "negritos" out of bigotry and ignorance. They called some dark skinned peoples of the Yucatan peninsula and other dark skinned peoples in Central and South America the same bigoted term. ("“Negrito” peoples of Asia are not usually related to one another and are often more closely related to surrounding populations than to Negritos in another country")-Those are your words and they are completely devoid of facts! 200k years ago archaic Humans came out of Africa. 80k to 50k years ago, Anatomically Modern Humans came out of Africa and they eventually reached the Philippine archipelago around 22k years ago when they crossed over into Borneo and Sumatra.

Um, no! You have your directions wrong. Anatomically modern Human came out of Africa 80 to 50 thousand years ago. They also crossed unto Madagascar and some travelled eastward all the way to South Asia and towards Southeast Asia. They did not migrate from Taiwan! That does not make any sense. While some kept going all the way to Papua New Guinea and finally, all the way to Australia. At a later time they eventually inhabited all of Oceania and the Pacific Islands.
