So are you saying there is an intenal battery inside the monitor? Like my monitor is not working after a thunderstorm I had in my area and I wasn't at home plus the power went off but non of the appliances connected to the multi plug plug are damaged and are working. I have tried to switch the monitor on several times and checked the cables and nothing is working.

All electrical devices have something called a capacitor, which is essentially a tiny battery that gets charged and drains quickly, this method drains the capacitors so any switch that might have flipped will flip back and hopefully fix it. It may work for a power surged monitor, so try it

I hit my monitor with 1 finger on the power button and it stopped display with power indi off, then i press hard on that corner and it works again (this happened to me when I had the video on pause at 0 seconds)

Got the same problem bud got the G5C blue light is working but screen is flashing only one time and than back to black..
Damn frustrating, did you find a fix for yours? The internet doenst provide any answers sadly.
