Student loss and financial difficulties, son is having some health problems, walking away from a toxic guy that I fell for. I am in pain. No family and no friends. But I still have peace because God is always good. Before I would just go clubbing and get drunk, hurting myself even further. And now I will go to the gym, take a bath, and hug myself.
Sometimes without pain, we would just get stuck in our comfort of mediocrity.
Hang in there. God loves you too.

2 minutes in, I'm rooted to the spot. Lost my dad barely a year ago. After 7 suicide attempts that I didn't want to survive, and so much more before AND after that over and over again like a never ending loop of agony 33 years of being enslaved to my so-called "mother" who took me from him when I was 11 years old....yep, today, I am free. I just lied to her like she lied to me my entire life. One lie to SEPARATE me from her sin which she loves. She smokes herself to death. I don't care anymore. She's in hell. "Yeah, and people in hell want ice water." lol. R.I.P. David Humphreys WWI survivor 1939-2023, and R.I.P. my baby boy Julian 2004-2011 my miracle Lucky boy....when you come back to life in the Great Resurrection you will one of the fastest and one of the strongest in Christ's kingdom that is coming VERY SOON. Be patient, my beloved. It will be worth the wait, I can GUARANTEE it. I love you both, David and Julian more than you could ever know. Amen.
When I got sober I loved my life. Everything just fell into place. It felt really good. I'm still sober I'm in A LOT of pain. I don't even have one iota of motivation to do anything. I lay on the couch and watch TV every day. I needed to hear this. I know I need to start somewhere. Trying to figure out where.

Jesus I seek you everyday. Even when I feel like giving up I will keep faith. As a single mother. I’m struggling to make ends meet. My husband passed years ago. Oh, Kev - I hear you, 100%. This is what I’ve been moving through lately, too. I feel like a big chapter of my life is ending and I’m reflecting on how incredibly effing hard it was… There were so many moments during this very painful season in which I had no idea why things were happening the way they were… I thought the pain would never end. But I’m understanding now - there was a reason for all of this. Because of my pain, I accomplished so many things I never thought I would… And I think it’s playing that role in my life now, too. I think the worst of the pain is over but there is still a little bit of it. I turn it into something positive for myself.
