- hey y'all today's video is for the 23' Indian Challenger Dark horse. I install the kuraykan heel shifter. didn't like the Indian motorcycle one so I opted for the kuraykan one. much better in my opinion. a little bit more work but worth it.

I’m a definite heel and toe shifter guy on any bike with floorboards (I’ve got 2 Kaw. Vaquero’s and they come with a roomy OEM heel shifter - especially compared to the Challenger OEM heel shifters! I had noticed from other people’s videos that the OEM’s were too short, stealing valuable space for your foot at the back of the floorboard. I’m glad to see you install the Kuraykan’s and see that it’s the way to go for me when I buy a Challenger.
Absolutely I came from the Kawasaki style heel shifter and loved it! So the kuraykan was as close as I could get to that and I'm very happy with it so far!
Just be aware when you go to put the kickstand down you don’t crack your shin on the peg like I do.

You needed floor board spacers.
Okay maybe not I needed them on my fifteen
I was gonna say I thought so as well but because the primary cover is more compact on the 2021's and newer I don't think it's necessary rode all day yesterday with no clearance issues! Thanks for watching!

Yes the part# is 5648 for the black one I believe the chrome one 5649 hope that helps
