Just so you’d guys know, This Show Takes place 5 Years after the ending of the main walking dead show, that’s why maggie’s son is older than he was at the end of the main show. Where as the daryl dixon show takes place i believe 2-3 months later after the ending of the main show & same with the ones who live “mostly”
@@dylanburton4955 No one even knows when it takes place for sure. Negan himself at some point says "12, 15 years ago" when referring to the Savior war. Not even the cast seem to know for sure when it takes place
The Daryl Dixon show takes place a year after the end of TWD. Remember the 1 yr time jump when we see Eugene touchong Rosita'z name, and heis married with a baby girl?
oh boy, i havent seen all of this one, ben waiting on yall lol seen like 3 eps and its def a good spin off, this duo is a force not to be trifled with. but the whole concept of a city crawl in an zombie apoc, yes please. the relationship between these 2 is strange but it makes sense and the character growth in this is amazing just 3 eps in so cant wait to see the whole thing.
One thing I wish twd did more after ricks departure , was mention rick more and have more call backs ngl , there was plenty of chances they coulda mentioned Rick , it’s just nice to hear

there's a lil' bit of "walking back" on negans and maggies relationship development just to allow a bit of tention in the series, but other than that this series was good. But, The Ones of Live is coming over the hill.. :) the 6 episode format works so well in the 3 main spin offs. You are not having to cover an ensamble cast of 8-10 characters, its focused on 2-3 max and, tbh, its the edge and 'feel' the main show was missing have a kinda "bloated" cast at points.
I cannot wait for S2 of Dead City. " how many husbands and fathers have you killed? " While that is true there is a BIG difference between getting people on their knees then deciding who to kill then bashing in their heads while mocking them as they died. Maggie and the others did what they had to out of necessity while Negan didnt have to enslave entire communities and killing one of their members. Negan is both right and wrong here.
Absolutely this. I hate when fans hear Negan make these comparisons and take that as "proof" that everyone else is on a level playing field with him. This man literally admitted in S10E22 that he was just doing horrible things for the sake of being horrible because there was no longer a legal system to hold him accountable. THAT'S the significance behind Rick, Carl and Michonne's efforts to not kill Negan and instead hold him accountable by sticking him in a cell. I feel like Gimple and the writers are constantly trying to hold the hands of fans and show that while Negan has his good moments, what he did with the Saviors was miles worse than anything the characters in our group have ever done. But edgy fans just keep insisting he's no worse than Rick, it's laughable. No one in Alexandria ever forced people into slave labor or sex slavery under threat of their loved ones being killed, or torture them for trying to leave, nor did they laugh while torturing people's loved ones in front of them and mock them as they were dying. There is absolutely no comparison between Maggie and Negan.

@@zanescalia your absolutely right but Negan didnt HAVE to enslave communities he easily could've peacefuly traded with them for example Negan could give Alexandria extra man power for whatever they need them for while in return Alexandria supplies Negan with food , medical care and maybe even a house to stay in. But there is one thing I agree with what Negan did and that was taking out the Bikers because they stalled Negan getting back to his wife with the treatment that she needed.
I don't know if either of you watched House MD but the Croat was the guy who held House and other people at gunpoint to get diagnosed, no one could figure out what was wrong with him. I know, odd aside there.
I'm going to be honest, Im not a fan of the Maggie and Negan show at all, the story is very predictable and at times it feels like a 10 year old wrote the script.... It does have some good scenes, but I don't think I'm ever going to rewatch this show when I do my re-run Walking Dead marathon watch.
What's so cool about this spin off and Daryl Dixon....they are completely separate stories from each other. You can't spoil anything at all because they don't connect! You can enjoy freely! Let's go! Enjoy!☺️
I remember when it announced that a 2nd season of this was being made. It confused slots of ppl because at first it marketed as part of a trilogy of movies then as a mini series. It was only a was it San Diego con a com that it was marketed as a series. I maybe wrong about this but I remember it being said on the Talking Dead it was movie
No, that was about the Rick Grimes movies that became The Ones Who Live, this was always going to be a show, it just changed names during production because they were not allowed to use the original name xD
