Was looking at this but not a fan of proprietary magazines. Noticed they were out of stock on their website when doing research. Weatherby or a cva/Bergara are what I'm looking to get though.

I’ve never used levels or a torques wrench. I eyeball the shit and go with it, just go by feel on the screws too (I do use Loctite though). Never had an issue and all my reticules are straight 🤙

EGW has a solution for almost every rifle. And great customer service.

That did not look like 20in/lbs torque.

How much do you think it was?

The top of the red mark indicates the torque value. Were you looking at the top of the white?

@@kirkoutdoors8806 At the 40 second mark-it looks to be set about 15-18in/lbs

    You’re bubble wasn’t fully centered

Listen to the audio 2:14-2:25. The right edge of the bubble touches the right line each time I use a level on the receiver and the scope. This makes the scope level relative to the receiver. Touching it to the line eliminates the dead space you would have on either side of the bubble if it were centered, making the measurements more precise.

@@kirkoutdoors8806 Man this @apache529crewchief is a freaking warrior when it comes to recoil and bubbles. I have a very similar setup. Differences being that I used Talley style Leupold base/rings, Same scope on top of CVA's 7mm rem mag. I love it. I love the idea of using the line as a reference for the bubble to get it as accurate as possible. There are few places on this rifle that are flat. Therefor making it very difficult to see the bubble at times. Thanks for the tip. Great video.
