I love this entire album. I can't fully articulate my gratitude, this album has been instrumental in helping me develop a revitalized sense of passion within my self, in spite of the past half decade largely being spent trying to leave this Earth. It serves as a reminder that there are in fact other people still trying to change this place for the better, and to me that is fucking priceless.

That whole song is referencing previous song/album and is about remembering all that made what they are know and what has been done by them in the past.
"Crawled Through Knives", "Artifacts", "Behind Space", "Colony", "The Hive", "Ordinary Story", "(i'm the) Highway" are the song more evidently referenced. you also have A purpose and a reason that can reference "A sense or Purpose" and is also a line from Lunar Strain. "Noise and Sound" can work with lyrics from Where the Dead Ships Dwell ("All i hear is noise"). "Worlds Collide" is a callback to In My Room lyrics as well as "Gathered Masses" that is from The Jester Race and "Come To Realize" that is from Cloud Connected.

SOAPF and Siren Charms were weird, and less heavy, but I can still enjoy some of the songs off those albums sometimes. Once Battles came out it’s like they stopped “experimenting” and decided to just dive head-first into the trash. I could deal with Anders’ weird cleans on the other albums, I guess he grew on me. But.. These last two albums have been just straight garbage. The first 60 seconds or so of I am Above gave me a ton of hope, and then the chorus kicked in and killed that hope. “Well... Maybe the next single/rest of the album will be better-“ and then This is Our House came out and I died a little. “This is the worst song theyve ever made, but maybe the rest of the album will save it-“ Burn was mediocre at best, but I legitimately liked the title track. The rest of the album is crap. I dont care if theres cleans, I dont care if it’s not Jester Race, I just want them to put their gut into it. Evidently they didn’t do that. Whenever Anders’ screams on the latest album, it’s like he’s doing an imitation of a death growl, instead of knowing what the hell he’s doing. Bad vocals. Annoying cleans. The lyrics are nauseatingly anthemic and cringy (Burn, This is Our House, etc.) and most of the riffs and solos are forgettable at best. They decided to work with a pop producer for the last two albums for some stupid reason. In the “making of” videos he evidently has no idea how to do anything metal-related. I just wish Anders would grow a pair, and Bjorn and Nikolas would actually put effort into making badass riffs/melodies. Sadly, In Flames is still alive, so I still have that foolish hope. I just hate how IF is currently, especially since Jesper and Bjorn are my favorite guitar duo ever..
In Flames is the only band that managed to get better with a new lead singer and I'm a 20 year fan. I refuse to listen to Killswitch, Three days grace, Flyleaf or Arch Enemy because of their lead changes.

Для меня In Flames начинаются с 1999г и это не потому что я death не воспринимаю, других в этом стиле предпочитаю.
