    I love that this is EWG certified, thank youuuu! When I immediately heard the brand, I was like, oh this will be typical greenwashing! Great that these mainstream brands are stepping up their game with ingredients. So encouraging!

    I didn't know that Herbal Essences was cruelty free and environmentally friendly! I try to buy only cruelty free beauty products, so I'm excited to add Herbal Essences to the list of products I can buy!

    Would love to see how your hair reacts to other wavy hair products like styling gel! I feel like your hair has a lot more wave potential. Also how often do you wash your hair?

    I havent kept up with a beauty channel in YEARS and I'm not sure if you're a beauty channel but I subscribed. I started using Renpure shampoo last year and I'm running out so I ended up grabbing the shampoo you showed in the video. My hair is healthy but it's always soooo frizzy! Also I've started realizing that I'm not too sure about my hair type or how to actually take care of it. When I get out of the shower I always have atleast one perfect coil at the back of my neck and I'll have a mixture of waves and spirals/loose coils around my head. Sometimes though after I shower it'll be pretty straight which is super confusing. I typically brush my hair every morning and then on the days I shower I brush my hair after the shower then put it in a low bun for a while then it comes back down. Its usually wavy/curly like I said but since I brush my hair in the mornings it goes flat. I've tried not brushing my hair in the morning but sometimes it's just too tangled to walk around like that, itll look horrible
    Edit: also I know I wrote alot but I wanted to say that I subscribed because of your comment about accepting and loving your hair. In 2018 I got my heartbroken then in 2019 I fell in love with myself for some short months. I started hating myself again and I am desperately trying to fall inlove with myself again. I think you'll help me do that in some ways.

    I always did the towel thing you do and i see the bad difference when i do it rough or when i put my oil and brush it off immediately... It just takes a bit of time until the hair is ready fir anything more

    I can’t seem to master the turbie twist. I usually just pat my hair dry after my shower. I bought one of those microfiber towels and my hair looks awful when I take it out of the twist. Am I doing something wrong?

    I also never brush my hair, just because it looks good when I washed it and it dried during the night haha. I only brush it right before washing it to avoid tangles. I also only wash it once a week, with a shampoo bar.

    Ah, thank you, thank you, thank you! Literally been waiting for this video for years. I finally got my hair to such good health after two years of not dying it - a few months ago I decided to balayage again (I'm living in China atm) and the hairdresser literally didn't know what that was (even after I showed him a picture!) and he ended up doing it wrong the first time and had to do it again! My WHOLE head was bleached twice. I regret it so much - my hair is super damaged now, I finally got it to a nice length and now I know I have to do a proper cut to stop the damage .. like you said, but it actually makes me so sad. Btw, I have similar hair texture to yours (not atm bc of the damage) but, two questions 1. do you part your hair when it's wet or when it's dried? 2. do you wash your hair at night or in the morning, because for me, sleeping on curls ruins them in the morning! Thanks x

      Ah I’m so sorry you had to do that, hope you can get your hair back to its healthy state soon! I actually just naturally part my hair and I make sure to switch the part from one side to the other throughout the day to keep the volume in my hair ☺️

      Girl I feel you! I lived in Guangzhou for 8 years and I know Chinese hairdressers have no clue on how to deal with hair with texture lol. The hair salons are amazing and they offer great massage service I miss so much but not the hair treatments. Good luck to you!

    So my hair is very similar to yours and I've been trying not to brush mine.. but after I get out of the shower it's kinda knotted. Lately i've been using a huge wide tooth comb in the shower while I have the conditioner in and I've found that when I get out of the shower I dont need to brush it. Do you think combing like that even with conditioner in it damaging though??😬

    • @RayaWasHere
      @RayaWasHere  4 роки тому +1

      I’ve read that wide tooth combs are much less damaging but I’d still be very gentle. If you come to a knot I wouldn’t pull hard on it with the comb, especially if your hair is wet. Have you tried hair masks? If I have a bad knot that’s what always gets it out for me!
