I would like to commend the announcers, esp Mr. Williams. The commentary was insightful and interesting. I learned a lot. I would appreciate if Mr. Williams would talk to the camera when he is on screen. Other than that it was excellent. I even watched the half time, just for the commentary. I rarely do that. Well done. I was at the game today the gamecocks got a little sloppily in the 2nd period
Absolutley terrible camerawork. Game started and we're filming the logo? then baseline plays star meanwhile they're still panning to Gamecock Coach Dawn?
The games on the SEC+ Streaming Network mainly use local people to broadcast games, so it depends on what's there. Amateurs, not professionals.
They don't pay a lot of money for camera operators or announcers, etc like they do for nationally broadcast games.
Unlike the regular SEC Network, the SEC+ Network games can only accessed thru the ESPN APP.
Sometimes they'll use students of the home university who are studying media and broadcasting to operate the cameras.
They're not going to dish out a lot of dollars for broadcasts on a network that is stream only, and doesn't have a large audience.
Often times, those games on the SEC+ Network won't even have announcers there, they'll just tie into the home team's radio broadcast feed and use that audio, rather than have actual ESPN/SEC announcers there.
