Roads are a suggestion, property can be replaced, your truck can handle a LOT of punishment.. Way more than you'd think.
Put your foot down and if there's a fence in the way, plow through it. Don't risk your life because you were scared of damaging something.

Number one is my hometown! I wasn't expecting to see that on here, but that was a scary day! I believe one person died in that storm, which hit a main road in the suburban area. We get the occasional tornado in the middle of nowhere, but this was an unprecedented day. My work took shelter in the stairwell, but I was home due to a doctor's appointment and was driving on the highway, seeing the storm clouds forming.

This is also why it's important to have a QUALITY GPS in your car/truck. Not just being able to see roads, but satellite imaging in GPS can make overlanding 1000 times easier.

I was once driving right underneath a downpour like this 17:54, in Colorado. The wipers at max was doing absolutely nothing. Of course everyone stopped immediately. Not on the side of the road, but on the spot, cause even the hood of the car wasn’t visible. People say downpour downpour all the time, but if you’ve never experienced one of these, you’ve no idea of the meaning.

That fire escape is just scary AF, no two ways about it. Some of these 'disasters' aren't all that staggering, but this one was (at least in terms of a human story, as well as a natural one). I can't imagine a worse death than being burned alive. P.s On the Indonesian volcano, 15:28 it's called a lahar; a dangerous mix of rocks, sand, sediment and boulders. It _looks_ wet and behaves like it is, but it's often dry.

Why is it that most people can't seem to figure out how to hold their phones the right way when recording videos. Look at the video window in all of the UA-cam videos. It's orientated the same way as your tv screen, horizontally. This is because our eyes are designed to see more horizontally than vertically. And yet, most people insist on holding their phones vertically when recording videos, forcing them to pan the camera back and forth way more than they would if they held it the right way and having those annoying side bars in the video window. Come on people, this isn't that hard to figure out!
