He's the first modern kpop star to ever exist but what's great is there's two phases throughout his discography: "Seo Taiji and Boys" which popularized the singer + rapper boy band group we see today, and his solo work after their break up where he returns to his more metal roots. The contrast in style is amazing especially "Come Back Home" which has two different versions. Imo, he has one of the greatest nu metal albums to exist in "Ultramania".

Day 29 of recommending the opening and ending of "Spare Me Great Lord". It's a chinese anime, so slightly different to the stuff you've reacted to so far, but it's got some of the vibest music and animation I've ever seen.

So there are some really good rock and metal bands.
