I'm going to ride Mathilde (horse) at Stal G. Mathilde (human) helps me. Rein and I are going to drive with Alie in front of the cart.

Is it just me or does Risey seem to have come on in leaps and bounds since he moved to Stal H? Under Yvonne's tender love and care he seems much stronger. Coping very well with wobblers. Definitely happier. He is very handsome that is for sure. ❤❤❤
Oh Yvonne I have to tell you that I’ve been watching since 2020 along with my granddaughter who is now 5 yr old. Today, while playing with the Breyer horses, I hear her imitating you, calling each by familiar names (Rising Star, Queen Uniek, Spidey and so forth). She was pretending to be you! ❤ Thank for being such a beautiful role model and blessing to all of us ❤

This is good for Yvonne after her devastating loss of Uniek! My 2 t-shirts and coffee mug with Uniek and Risey on them came in today.
Risey is managing his body MUCH better. He is learning how to deal with his disability. He certainly seems to enjoy life.
Yvonne I am thrilled how well Risey is moving now! He is so much better with more control over his body compared to last month, seeing him doing so well really makes me so happy and is giving me high hopes that he will make a full recovery from wobblers! 👍❤️❤️❤️
Blomke is totally stunning! Her structure and form right from birth is obvious. She is going to mature into one magnificent adult!! And her personality and charm just enhances her beauty. I am so happy you have her to love on and watch grow after losing your beautiful and precious and much loved by all, Queen Uniek. We all are so saddened by her passing, watching Blomke growing is a joy. ❤️💖❤️

I know you keep wondering if you should put down Risey. From someone who has a mobility disability, I am his biggest supporter!!! I’m seeing improvement with him. Everytime you contemplate this, I cry. He looks happy. Is SO sweet. He gives you such love. You aren’t unlucky to have him!!!!!

Definitely better, not entirely depleted but I personally see visible improvements, especially when he halts. He used to look so unbalanced when he would halt. When he canters or gallops, that's when he seems uneven when he decelerates, the other gaits are better. His movements look a bit rigid today, could just be the sand additive or he's not really in the mood. I feel like his relatively young age is going to play a huge factor in diminishing the symptoms/reducing the awkwardness in his gaits since he is still very young, KWPN grow for 5 years or more, even if it's at a slower pace at some point.
I sure hope so! I keep watching for him to stumble or trip, and it doesn’t seem to be happening. And he doesn’t have any new cuts on his front legs! Please please please let Risey get better we love him so. Hopefully his momma is watching over him.

Risey has the kindest eyes you can imagine. Yvonne, so smart to have given him and you time. Haviong animals is not always easy but in the end totally worth it. Heartache is the other end of loving one.
I think Risey was put on this earth to make people smile, he is so quirky and loving. Blompke is so loving and trusting of you, what a beautiful interaction. 🌺

It is unfortunate that Risey has wobblers; yet, Yvonne, he is HAPPY and not in pain. Just another example of how well you care for your herd. Thank you so much for bringing me along to share in all the moments. Both sad and happy. All my best.

I am not a horse person, never have even ridden one and I am now 53 years old... But with that being said, I am really glad you have given Risey a chance to live longer and see how his wobblers goes. I know he might not every be able to be ridden, he is such a sweet character. As long as he is not suffering in pain all the time, I don't think I could have him put down. He might get worse, and who knows with all the folks praying for him, maybe he will get better!
Seeing Risey trot makes me happy especially today: I still have post surgery pain in my left leg on bad days, and Risey encourages me to do my gymnastics/workout and not give up 😍
You keep up your goid work and you should be good as new very soon!👁️👏👏

He really is a special boy, Risey always seems like a very happy young man. I noticed he has kept a few of his stallion tendencies, snorting etc. luv him lots
I've seen a lot of geldings, especially Arabians who were still very vocal after being gelded. Even Friesian stallions generally are not as vocal as those Arabian geldings because they have different temperaments. Gelding a horse doesn't mean it will eliminate their personality/render them mindless, it just means it will reduce the extent of those characters. Most character traits are based more on temperament, learned behaviours, remaining testosterone from adrenal glands and genetics. RS will be noticeably less frisky towards mares because it's his genitals that were castrated but everything else might remain the same or mitigated only to a slight extent. Those exclusive character traits may include vocalisations, restlessness/alertness, playfulness, rebellious and dominant behaviours (unwilling, pawing, biting, pinning ears and control others movements through head shaking/shoulder pushing/rearing/blocking).
Some of those behaviours we do not exactly see with RS anymore like pinning his ears which indicates temper but that's because he isn't in a herd & he's being well taken care of but some circumstances might jump-start those existing traits as different social setting have difference dynamics. As we've seen with Pake Sjors, ever the approachable horse by himself as he was Eleanor's therapy horse but when he is put in the mare herd, he changes his behaviours befitting the situation as he has to protect the others, being the alpha male. Sjors and RS are both Dutch Warmbloods, Sjors also maintained some tendencies like vocalisation etc.
He really is the sweetest isn’t he? I wonder if he will always snort. I’ve known geldings and mares who snorted. Usually when nervous or excited. Like encountering something scary but also just snorting on a fresh fall day when they wanted to play in the pasture with their buddies. It is a neat sound!

We could however see his nervous snorts when he used to be perplexed by Puck and Shiney, not anymore though.

When he is trotting, sometimes he holds his tail up so high, and he looks so elegant! I love his 3 white feet and the white mark on his side by his tummy! I love this Risey Boy! Risey looks so much better now then a few months ago, he seems much more in control and coordinated! I hope he can join at some point the other ponies, especially his sweetheart Bibi ❤🐴
I think Risey is not trotting well, but otherwise he looks so happy and has a lot of bounce in his whole body. If Risey had not gotten wobbler he would have been a monster - just like Thunder. I found that fermented fart in the kitchen eating a whole apple pie and it was warm!! He would not share - just gave me a dirty look. But he did give me a head butt when he ran out of pie. He really loved apples of any kind; l even mixed applesauce in his feed bucket once in a while, he loved it. So enjoy the time with your big boy.
Unfortunately his gait/coordination being off is a part of wobblers,I sometimes move in a similar way bc of the disability I have especially when I pick up my feet causing one foot to clip the other and my toes to drop slowly(it’s similar to wobblers)but Risey is adapting and couldn’t be with a better guardian than Yvonne.
