India takes major steps towards theatre commands, notifies tri-service Act | The Chanakya Dialogues

- The Inter-Services Organisations (Command, Control and Discipline) Act has been notified by the Indian government. This Act will pave the way for the creation of unified theatre commands, marking the most radical military reorganization since Independence. The Act received presidential assent on August 15 last year 2023 and was passed by Parliament during the monsoon session. The enforcement of the ISO Act comes after the BJP manifesto promised to establish military theatre commands for more efficient operations, following the creation of the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS) post in December 2019. CDS General Anil Chauhan chaired a “Parivartan Chintan” where 12 sub-committees made presentations on different domains and aspects towards jointness and integration, in light of the imminent theaterisation. पानी के जहाज में आदमी की तबीयत क्यों बिगड़ती है इस पर कुछ अनुसंधान होना चाहिए।
कुछ पेड़ पौधे होते हैं जो आदमी को स्वस्थ रखते हैं। जैसे गेंदा चंपा चमेली, रजनीगंधा तुलसी, कुछ पेड़ जैसे आम अमरूद बेर, पानी के जहाज में उनकी व्यवस्था होनी चाहिए।
इसके अलावा हर रोज हवन करना चाहिए। भारत भूमि की जो पवित्रता है वह क्यों है इस पर विचार कीजिए, ऋषि मुनियों का कितना सारा कर्म और त्याग छुपा हुआ है इसको ढूंढ के बाहर निकालिए। वही सब अब पानी के जहाज में भी शुरू करना चाहिए। यह बात दूसरी है की हवा चलेगी तो जहाज की सब हवा फिर सेबदल जाएगी। और जहाज पानी में है तो वहां की हवा की जरूरतें थोड़ी सी भिन्न हो सकती है।

In IIT Kanpur I had seen development of such emotional integrity among students from various streams of science, engineering and humanities. One of the reasons of this , as I feel, is that the institute did not have separate buildings for different departments. Laboratories of Physics, Chemistry, Mech Engg, Chemical Engg, Aironautical Engg, etc existed side by side under the same roof. Students of different disciplines/departments stayed in same hostels. Post graduate students of all the disciplines lived in the same hostel and dined in the same mess. There was very strong academic interaction/exchange of ideas among students which helped them enhance their knowledge.

When I was preparing for SSB from 2003-2006, I used to hear that Army is the Eldest brother, then comes the Airforce and the youngest brother is The Navy....I am talking about 20 years ago .. But now this inter services organisation command control and discipline act it will actually bring out the unity in diversity within the Indian armed forces ...Not only that.. during any strategised or for that matter any operations it will actually enhance and strengthen the moral of the personnel..Like in NCC we too have three wings ARMY NAVY AND THE AIRFORCE. and although the units are different but during RDC all cadets March together representing NCC as one unit so This theatre command will act like one single unbreakable bond strengthening and protecting the democracy of our country
