the pass would definitely boost your squad, you just have to make sure you complete it before Nov 1 plus it has extra value with the coins and boosts for energy recharge speed
You have to complete all the rounds in topaz and increase your team pwr to advance to the next tier to unlock the next round. The tips in this video can help you accomplish that. If you’re getting the season pass and can complete it before the month is over, the Luka’s pwr will definitely help
you should submit a ticket to 2K support via the in game menu, website or twitter. This will help make them aware if the issue and allow them to assist with resolving it

it’s random and always has been. The best approach is to change the seasons you simulate until you pull a player
