Any outdoor activity you do is great, because it’s in your blood. So yea I will tune in to your videos, I think any young hunter who wants to know more about how much work it takes to do all you do should just bring you more respect. Videos that are made from people who truly love what they are doing over videos that are made to make a video is all the difference. I think you are doing something our heritage is being forgotten. If you inspire young men and women to keep mules, train hounds, and get outdoors, your helping keep it all alive. Wishing you, your family, animals and channel the best from me and mine. 🎥👍💯
@@MountainMusicandMules well from my side your hoof job is lots better than I could do it lol Sorry to wake you up om this but scruffy is a part of everything lol i just lissen to your potcast interview , was nice to lissen to thanks for that ..👍🏻👍🏻
Ol scruffs right up there in the middle of everything. That’s a good calm level headed mule. You might throw some dog training videos in there too. Like getting them to load and come out of the box calm when called by their name. Enjoyed your video.
Is that borium or drill steel on those shoes brother ? I put borium on every fall to go to Colorado elk hunting .. good job .. great video .. Onward and Upward is the watchword..
@@jeffwilcher3333 I've always wondered if borium was used much out that way.. Other than a month or two I've basically started keeping it on year around here in Va.. does it have any value in sandy, desert type terrain?
@@MountainMusicandMules No sir , not in our country .. there are lots of working cowboys here in Oklahoma , and they just use flat shoes on their horses .. I always used toes and heels on my mules , I think it was just a mind thing at best .. because I ended up with just using heels .. but a time or two when I would get them shod they wouldn’t have heels and they would just shoe them with flats and I couldn’t never tell the difference really .. all the cowboys just flat shoe for all arena roping here .. but now in the mountains of Colorado, especially hauling out meat .. borium .. the only way to go .. you’re talking lots and lots of rocks in those mountains .. 👍👍👍
I got a buddy that hunts with me that is a farrier , and my dad was a farrier . . . . . . I am not a farrier , but have watched a bunch ! You done a fine job ! I also knew what Scruffy was waiting on ! I use trimmings to trap coyotes with . How anything could eat them blows my mind ! ! !
I enjoy working with them and the training process...and I use them for turkey, deer and squirrel hunting also...so yes bear hunting is the reason I got them but I probably ride and use them even more while not bear hunting... Thanks!
@@johnsonr9 I've had mine in a pulling harness before but I've never really used them for pulling much.. It amazes me how some of the old-timers used them daily for things we take forgranted now..
Thanks for Watching

Mule tested, Scruffy approved! Million dollar idea, design and market a horseshoe screw that you can run in with a cordless drill/driver!
