Brilliant video, everything you've published so far is just what I needed for TBC prep! Had to watch it on 0.75 speed though because I was missing some bits when you were talking fast lol
Yeah, I had to turn subtitles on. I tried several rewinds to hear what was being said about cloaks before giving up. Good content, just sloooooow doooown.
FYI there has been a lot of discussion on the shaman discord regarding weapons ever since the blacksmithing announcement was made. It's worth noting that we are currently estimating ~5% dps increase when wielding identical speed weapons due to better syncing of weapon swings. This come from two mechanics: (1) flurry has a known icd of .5s for consuming stacks. If a second swing happens within .5s of a swing that consumed a flurry charge, the second swing will not, enabling a much higher flurry up time (2) a priority of MH WF procs. If the main hand is consistently swinging slightly before the off hand, you will get a disproportionate amount of procs from the main hand specifically. Combine that with the extreme scarcity of good 1h 2.7 speed weapons, BS may not be the best choice for min max (rip matching weapon dream!). Food for thought.
@@BRETTY discord.gg/3eN7x9SgPP . The enhance guys are quite active. Some can be pretty grouchy, but it comes from answering the same questions day in and day out for weeks on end 😂
can you clarify if the 350 blue lw items dont require LW to equip? as you said you are not going LW then listed those + a green quest item as the only option.
Question for you since I’m new to enhance shaman. I’m assuming matching weapons speed is not the end all be all some make it out to be? Been seeing a lot of conflicting things online, but I’m using drakefist right now and don’t want to pigeon hole myself only into maces that have a 2.7 speed
Good stuff! Also would you recommend DW flurry axes at 42 with 4% hit chance talent for the memes of course? I know you want 2 slow weps for windfury but just curious for the RnG.
I have been watching a lot of videos about shaman enh in tbc, but, i can't figure out what profession pick up, leathersmith or blacksmith... could you give me a light? :D
There isn’t really 2 BiS professions that shamans HAVE to run if they want to parse - I’ll be going blacksmithing + mining on launch and eventually drop mining for LW, enchanting, or JC - not sure yet :)
So with month in and Kara being that easy to farm, would you still suggest going blacksmithing and going for that axe or waiting for that The Decapitator drop from prince? Im levelling my shaman right now and Im not sure if I want lw or bs. Would love to hear your perspective. Edit: What do you think about weapon syncing, going for a 2.6/2.6 combo and not 2.7/2.6 combination?
Though I do get it, why you recommend mostly leather items for the better dps stats they provide, do you think it will be possible to totemtwist permanently with almost no bonus int at all? Shamanistic rage gains you mana back, but in between two rages you need a certain mana-pool to get by, isn't it?
If you manage your mana properly, you won't have a problem totem twisting. (using shamanistic rage during bloodlust/haste potion so you get more auto attacks off = more mana back, mana pots when necessary, dark runes, etc.) No problem at all :)
Remember too strat shammy rage scales with AP, so if you feel like it's a bit underwhelming whole leveling, it gets better with gear and when in a raid setting! Mana is not much of an issue in PVE encounters!
Hey is Blacksmith still the way to go, if you are trying to be as "BIS" as you can be? Heard something about the mace proc not stacking with potion and so on. I'm Ally so not gonna have the axe spec as orcs do. I'm going LW 100% and then thinking about BS or JC? Any thoughts? Love your content!
Thank you for the kind words! Unfortunately I haven't heard anything about the mace proc not stacking with haste potion etc, not to my knowledge at least. Leatherworking will definitely provide some good gear, but most of it will be replaced from karazhan+ gear. JC or enchanting are good alternatives, or BS if you can get 350+ BS without having to go mining :)
Hi, just found your channel its awesome. I am a Orc shaman, do you think I should focus on axes in tbc? I heard its not as good as in classic (the racial). I am not talking about BS here, just saw that all the bis weapons you listed for MH are Fist Weapons
Thanks Bretty, is there any classic gear that you think will last a while? ACL from MC are only a little worse than flesh handler gloves for example and should last you til 70
Yeah man, definitely a lot of classic gear that is good into TBC but I'm super unfamiliar with classic gear so chose to leave it out of this video. I'll look into those gloves though man thank you :)
Tested out the axe and mace and chose to go axe off of the tests I made, but that's just my choice man, the dps is close between them imo (only if you're orc with axes).
Thank you for the enhance shaman content bro! I'm kinda concerned that I wont be getting any primal nether since I am kind of a casual and don't have a steady guild. Would it be a better idea for me to go leahterworking and not blacksmithing? Since the primal nether will probably be reserved. Or should I just stfu and try to go blacksmith ? :D Thanks again for the amazing content!
I don't think that should be the deciding factor between blacksmithing and leatherworking! I think some of the leatherworking pieces take primal nethers as well but I could be wrong.. but anyway, I think blacksmithing is still the way to go. You can always try making groups for heroics and reserve primal nethers for yourself, might be hard but eventually you'll get them :)
Could you speak a little bit faster, so that I can understand you even better? ;) Nice video though. I am working through the enhancer bis-gear videos trying to choose my most preferred gear. I would grab the pieces first which last the longest and the easy to grab stuff. The other gear is most likely be like replaced early. It will probably come to his: Dude: "Hey, wanna go Karazhan?" Me: "Yeah, but I'm bot fully decked out in pre-raid bis yet" Dude: "Got attunement?" Me: "Yeah" Dude: "You're in"
Hahaha most definitely man, many pieces will be replaced very quickly in Karazhan, and securing a raid spot here and there shouldn’t be that difficult either :)
Brilliant video, everything you've published so far is just what I needed for TBC prep!

Well thank you Sam! I appreciate the kind words man. Yeah I wanted to try out talking fast for a video and see how it would turn out :D
Came here to post that, 0.75 playback speed is perfect.

As always, super concise and informative. Hope to see the channel grow.
The background of this video is the VIBE. I love Zangarmarsh. I remember Primal Strike set, really nostalgic. Great video, to the point.
I like your video style! You really cut to the chase and not milk the video length
Much appreciated!
Thanks homie :)

I like that windfury procs with your words also :P much thanks for the Vid
Great videos man. Glad I found your channel early on!
Thanks Ethan!
Right to the point, Quick and clear

Love that a lot of the pre-bis is obtained through quest chains :D
Realy love your content helpful for people who dont understand enhc keep going ❤👌
Buen trabajo, muy detallado y precioso enhorabuena!
Talks so fast, felt like I was watching Storage Wars, 😀 thanks for the vid brotha
Hahaha most pre-raid bis videos end up being 20+ minutes, wanted to see what I could do to shorten it. And of course man, thanks for watching :)
great content for us enh shamans going into tbc
Appreciate the kinds words man :) Hopefully they help as much as they can
Yesss let’s goooooo. These types of vids are my favorite
Thank you :)
Best guide i found ty
Awesome video!! Do u have phase 2 bis list?
can you clarify if the 350 blue lw items dont require LW to equip? as you said you are not going LW then listed those + a green quest item as the only option.
You need LW for the set bonus, you can still equip the pieces withour LW
any more weapon recomandations?
Sweet content brotha', good shit!
Thank you Onyx :D
lmao I accidently selected the wrong necklace instead of the natasha's choker... XD
BRETTY what proffs are you using if your not using Blacksmith/LW what would u use instead of LW?
Why so much leather over mail? Is it just because of the stats themselves?
Still going blacksmith even if the spped of the offhand is not the same?
Yes I am!
@@BRETTY then ill follow your lead ;)
Whats better dragonscale leather working or elemental leather working for orc shaman
Depends if you want ebon netherscale or primalstrike - both sim pretty close to each other so totally up to you which you choose
So which is better, Primalstrike or Netherscale? is Elemental or Dragonscale significantly easier to obtain mats for?
