I knew he’d say voice crack. Lol. Watching his twitch streams really help a lot of us producers become better. He’s such an inspiration and an amazing producer/dj/person. Having both of you in the same podcast, is a dream come true. And for the record, I sit through the entire album every time I listen to it. Probably well over 20 times I’ve listened to that album.
Hahahhaha that’s awesome that you called it. You are so right, his twitch streams has changed most of our lives. Thank you for the kind words though of us being in the same podcast! And thank you for letting us know that you do sit through the whole album :) really helps us paint a picture of who is doing that.
Wyldwolf!!! Ahhhhhhhh yeahhhh :) I’m glad you finally got it my friend :) thank you for coming through and checking it out. Did it live up to what you’re wanted?

@@DAWNation amazing my guy, keep cranking em. I think Xilent deserves more from the industry tbh, he's similar to VR imo in the sense that they've both got the midas touch and it just isn't something you can teach. After choose me II (still on my vinyl rotation) and the figure 8 remix it felt like Eryk was about to breakthrough in a big way
Literally couldn’t agree more!! Xilent is massively underrated!! I think is totally on par with VR. I asked him to do an episode of In The DAW, cross your fingers :)
You say we as artists need to look at why marvel made 1B in 3 days with end game but I think it’s more apt to say “we as businesspersons” because marvel is not quite the best art piece around but definitely the best selling product
Quinn Ingrassia that is where people will mess up. When you look at your music as a product instead of a personal story/emotional connection, it becomes more about the money to you rather than the story. I find that when I allow myself to be vulnerable when I am making music and put my emotion and heart into it, I am more satisfied in the end.. and honestly I’ve made song that I don’t want to finish because there are stories that are not complete yet. I guess that’s where the next song comes in ;)
I think both of you (Quinn and Matt) have really great points here!! In my personal view of it all, when you have a healthy mind state with music. And a healthy mind state with business, then your music side and business side are in perfect harmony. I don’t see them as two opposing forces. I see them two half’s to a beautiful whole. Best friends even. I would love to explain more in a future video if you are interested :)
It's Xilent!!! He's the GOAT imo, so happy that we got this.
Ahhhh yeahhhhh! :) same dude. He was sooooo awesome to do this with!! Thank you for coming through
