Hi Vance, I can’t thank you enough for your video’s and the helpful information you put out for your viewers. Question though during the investigation process within the EEOC after filing a charge, can a charging party request to settle the case with the companies attorney, because I see that on the EEOC website where it says at any point of the investigation the charging party can request settlement
Without knowing the facts, what would you think a EEOC mediation against the State of Wisconsin be worth for age and disability discrimination during hiring process? I'm also an attorney, but have no idea how to value these cases. Long story short, client is 51. Apllied for programming job. Told he was top candiate via email. Two of the 3 interviewers were much younger than him by 20 years. No technical questions asked during interview. Interview questions were provided beforhand about past experiences, but nothing technical. Was told at end of interview that it would take two weeks to decide. Was notified one month later that was not selected. A couple of weeks later the job posting appeared again because nobody was hired.
Hello Vincent, what are the potential consequences if a government agency, fails to attend a settlement session with an Administrative Judge? The judge sent an email to the agency counsel and no one appears. Thank you in advance.
I have a federal eeoc claim filed, it's been over a year now. I have Asthma, and my Asthma was acting up. I told the supervisor, and they made me do a physical fitness test, and then fired me.
❤ happy to hear this!!
Can't hear anything
Fixed it 😊

Hi! Would you be willing to talk briefly about jury instructions in discrimination cases? Does the jury need to be unanimous? Just the basics!

I got a a reasonable cause determination from the EEOC.
How long does it take for the lawyers to contact the EEOC and get back to you? It’s been over a month but I don’t think that’s long.
You lawyer had 180 days to file

Hey Vince is it possible to be misclassified as a company?
Yes, I think there's a video in the pipeline about this, or one that was just recently released. Not sure, either way it's on misclassification.
So if the caps don't matter, why are they in place and posted on the EEOC website?
Those listed caps are court award limits
Can an employer during EEOC mediation say that if a person accepts a settlement that person cannot get their job back?
Yes, happened to me recently.
@@raycook9760 seems like retaliation to me!!!
Are there limitations through OFCCP?
Do you watch suits? I believe a lawyer created it.
No, but everyone tells me I should. I don't really love legal shows besides Boston Legal.
That was a great show, yes!
