Wow I wish I would've found this assortment. Electrical shock alone would've been enough to make me get it. That Cuckoo in a box is sort of funny.

The Wild Bats are much better then Killer bees, if only Phantom sold them like the killer bees. It's an ok assortment had it twice. but the price makes it a 6.5/10. Still the best assortment from TNT and Phantom. Awesome updated unpackaging 👏👏👍👍👍

Off topic, but ORANGE COUNTY UPDATE for the Beard. Villa Park opened today, they have 2 stands, 1 Phantom 1 TNT. Phantom had the Strobe Sticks, but only a few boxes. Bought 3 packs. Also had some older fountains Tijuana Tremor (I can't spell) and a couple others. TNT had the Grab Bag, but it was a disappointment. Even the lady in the stand said it didn't look worth $180. Clear plastic trash bag with a Sparkle Berry, Luck...Irish, Crazy Bug, 6 pack of sparklers and a few others things. No thanks. The 49r package had a few new fountains in it, but you'll have to shell out $80 if you want it. Both stands looked very well stocked. Not bad!

There are 2 TNT stands in Villa Park. One at the high school and one at the Jr. High. Both TNTs were well stocked with 70% off items which was nice compared to last year when they virtually had none.

Ok with this years prices appears solid not much filler just wondering what the performance is on those “big fountains”. The cuckoo fountain is boxed for packaging purposes would been nice if they had put 2 in there.
The electrical shock and thunder fest fountains are both 3 tubes with whistles. The awestruck also includes the real peach flower in spring box fountains with 4 tubes, along with two real moon dance fountains with 3 tubes, no imposters, the wrath of the hydra was always a one tuber. The backyard barrage however has a ton of impostor’s.

Lots of stuff in there, but last time I lit some of it I was very disappointed. If you are lucky, they have gotten better!

Dang! Only July 2 when I type this and the Villa Park PHANTOM stand was already about 60% cleaned out. Several assortments sold out or only one left. Guess the high prices didn't bother everyone else!
People make the budget or get less. Gotta celebrate! I spent less at the stands this year. $165 here and $350 at DFS for 16 Retros. 😂
Did some research seems every one agrees. Best value is awestruck. Got the package and a storm runner for 235 after taxes. Storm runner is 39.99 in Santa Ana ca. Decent for the show. Check it out
I considered it as well but had already purchased 16 Retro fountains for $22 each from DFS.

Unfortunately still not worth the money imo. Lots of stuff to light with nothing outstanding in the group. You are better off buying selected stand items. There’s a stand in the Central Valley that offers World Class Assortments. The price point and items seemed to be better than this one. They also sell real cones there!

Yes, I totally agree that the pricing for an assortment in Ca is good. I still think that you get better fireworks by buying single items from the stands. I did purchase Awestruck this year and shouldn’t have. It is better than TNT but that doesn’t say much. 😂

Not too bad for $170. Lots of items for sure. Redbeard do you know if TNT & Phantom are partnered up. I could've sworn the stuff that's available in CT was TNT products but I was in the supermarket the other day & saw a Bunch of Phantom products. Idk if it's different retailer's carry different products or what it is. I don't believe I've ever seen any phantom stuff being sold in my state. I was surprised to see it. Is there anything you could recommend either by Phantom or TNT as far as nice fountains. I usually grab some every year just to scratch the itch & smell the smoke. Thanks. Hoping you and your family have a Happy & Safe 4th.
Thank you for your nice comments. The 2 companies are separate so there must have been a retailer carrying Phantom. Typically TNT pop it’s are in our CA grocery stores and every once in a while though rare, Phantom.

Lots of fun items to light. I would have rather spent it all at a DFS stand. The prices of the smaller items is much better and the shelf items are legit.

I’d get singles from DFS. Buy the Bogo small items Buy a Retro as well.
Question: which assortment is best that's less then 40 at dfs. I know assortments suck. I just need something to fill in with my other ones
I wouldn’t. I’d pick up a retro and novelties or ground blooms/crackle balls. Basically anything bogo that you like.

Phantom has nothing but total duds in their boxes. They have amazing individual fireworks but I bought this box one year and it was literally the same effects and nothing unique except one. Buy all individual stuff from phantom. Their boxes are so lackluster.
