Everytime I see namco games in x68000 it looks like original but pacmania sure looks the same

This is a pretty poor conversion, since the ghosts have like, no movement pattern.
What do you mean? The red ghost follows the player, the orange doesn't care much about murdering you, pink ambushes you and minty green goes crazy, may cut you off using red's location.
Well, it's not so much "poor", more "inaccurate" would be a better term.

By far the worst sound effects and music (other than the intermission music, which is tolerable at least) I've ever heard in a Pac-Man port.
And then the atari 2600 version came over
