Had a 2015 terrain and it performed exactly how they’re saying in this video same style crash and everything definitely a solid vehicle (was totaled) but that same reason is what absorbed most of the impact

As long as you change your oil at the recommended mileage you should be good, I have a 2012 equinox that came from a not to responsible owner and my engine blew up, now that it had a new engine and I’ve been changing the oil regularly, no problems
Very true. I remember as a little kid sitting in the passenger side seat in a 18 wheeler with my dad. I said with this many wheels and huge brakes this thing must stop super fast! Nope the heavier the vehicle the long it takes to stop. That older heavier vehicle doesn't perform well in car crashes at speed like new vehicles.

We have two 2018 Equinoxes in my family. I am pleased to see how well they faired in this test... Great job GM...
Looking for a cheap used SUV. Definitely gonna keep these two at the top of my list. Not as reliable as the Japanese cars, but definitely safer.

The interior in the equinox and the terrain are the same
Jimmy when they were redesigned in 2018 the Terrains and Equinox interiors are very different.
