And no, there isn't, the spellbook cards are just fuel to prophecy destroyer, at best you can recover a spellbook spell card with eternity wich is kinda nice I guess. I'm trying a new version of this deck without grass and 50 cards instead of 60, maybe someday I'll do this deck justice.
You might be the only person to have noticed that card isn't once per turn. I'm curious to see if more people make lists trying to use Prophecy Destroyer, at least it's a really fun card to use and looks sick as hell. Hats off to you

As a representative of the vaylantz players, I'm very proud that our Tearlaments brew made it to dueltaining. We had been cooking with Muddy Mudragon for a while (honestly it was the card that saved wakaushi's spot in the deck since we dont necessarily need it as a high scale especially in master duel) and one day we were like "yo what if Tearlaments?" If anyone wants to try out the deck it's a really sick brew that is surprisingly stable and consistent. It's just... really hard. But honestly the big reason we wanted to rep it for dueltaining is to show people that vaylantz has more potential than just being Pachyturbo Deck #394. Its one of the few pend decks that I feel its Xenophobia is very justified considering how consistent it can get to any generic (and sometimes nongeneric) extra deck boss monster even under its lock.
@jht9836 as you can imagine our tcg list is much stronger than the MD list since we have merrli and sprind access. (LOL I think my mention of the vaycord was modded out for advertising. Fair.)
@@VanessaVersus so the idea is that if you get a tear heavy hand or have a pendulum monster you can't really get use of yet or you don't want to be vaylantz locked yet, you can mill a tear name and use any pendulum on the fusion effect to make Starving Venemy. This gets you immediate Beyond the pendulum access to continue doing pendulum plays, fix bad hands, and is a crucial card in making, remaking, and recycling Dragostapelia in the extra deck. In this video Tsubatt could have made Dragostapelia to just flat out win the game but wanted to go for the funny giggles. Funny enough it also serves as a floodgate to help get over difficult monsters or to preserve your board in difficult scenarios. He has a lot of niche uses but the big one is giving Tear immediate access to beyond the pendulum without vaylantz locking you.
I always knew that Vaylantz had potential, I just never had any particularly great ideas on how to use it. The best I've ever come up with was a fairly inconsistent setup to use Dominator Duke's effect with Hojo's effect after switching their places with Arktos XII
The person who decided "Hmmm, Joseph has only used 18 different engines in his SMD series. I bet I can jam all of them into one deck" has to be the most thought put into a deck ever.
I knew Monster Express! I play Cyberdarks, and we've tried to make Monster Express work as a way to more quickly get both Cyberdark Dragon and Cyber End Dragon into the GY to properly fusion summon Cyberdark End Dragon. (Honestly, I do still properly fusion summon it more than I go the tribute route. But my most success is a slower, control build that uses Diabellstar with Cyberdark Cannon and Super Rejuvenation to get a resource loop online).
Sadly I am not cheating in this one 😔. I hope to appear again in future weeks cheating once more, but sadly my schedule interferes slightly for a bit so I'm not going to be trying as hard to come up with tons of ideas to submit every week. I wish all the other non-cheating entertainers amongst you the best of luck at making resident white boy MBT himself laugh in my absence!
Dang, that ABC deck was crazy. Its hilarious that this can be done with any contact fusion monster. The only limitation is finding the right Therion to combo with it. You've got Duke Yul for Psychic Ritual Beasts and Bull Ain for Neos.
Respect to the spellbook duelist, ive wanted to make destroyer useful in that exact way for ages, but the payoff just isnt there sadly, hes so cool looking though it makes you dream

I'm greatful to the Dueltaining participants for getting Joseph to showcase the Fire Attacker engine. Being both a cheap bastard *_AND_* needing as many ways to draw during my opponent's turn as possible to combat a certain 2-TK deck, this was *INVALUABLE.*
MBT calling Prophecy Destroyer worse Mali but like, "Okay, worse Mali is still a good card." Also, that made me realize that we should get a Prophecy Denier for when Destroyer gets Called By to recycle Destroyer from the Banished.
Well, this week was nuts. Even MBT got in on the silliness this time with his Vaalmonica shenaigans(that "Teen Girl Squad" OTK was too much, I could feel myself getting MSG'd). My favorite parts were probably the Spellbook shenanigans with Prophecy Destroyer and guy that figured out the A-to-Z loophole.
Why doesn’t MBT not just play blind second decks with board breakers instead of handtraps? That way he could give the players going for laughs a chance while being able to combat people looking to actually beat him in yugioh

As an Earth Machine player I’ve been staring at Monster Express for YEARS thinking there has to be some way to abuse it. I’m so happy to see my dreams become a reality.
I'm glad mbt has been enjoying vaalmonica. I started playing when the archetype was first introduced in valiant smashers and only decided to look at it because mr blue tron called it literally unplayable. It's a fun pile of cards
The second-to-last deck, i thought it was gonna combo off to skip every phase of its next turn. Like it skipped its next main, and then searched fountain which could lead to skipping battle phase. If you can combo that with a skipping your draw phase and your mp2, that would be a winner
wouldnt be that hard. skipping your draw phase is trivial with offerings to the doomed or fire cracker. skipping your main 2 isnt necessary because you cant get one without a battle phase, but you could use terminal world to be thorough.
Could XYZ-Dragon Buster Cannon be re-summoned off A-to-Z? I know from playing Sacred Beast that "Must be SS by _" can't be resummoned from *GRAVE* (Hyper Blaze) with ignored condition, as they need to have been properly summoned. But i'm not sure if that counts for XYZ-Dragon Cannon here, as it's #1 banished and #2 states it's "must *FIRST* be SS by _"
I think it would be way funnier if its just about making you laugh and you just play 40 vanillas and its not about winning the actual duel but only making you laugh
I am here again with my proposal for a stupid deck: incidental synergies.Infinitrack of all things has a 1500/2100. The idea is to do a stupid and long line to get to both and summon Astraloud,preferably passing through some other stupid incidental synergies in the process
