Thank you for your comments. I have been to 20 countries and believe me this level of hospitality I have only seen in my country Pakistan and especially my hometown Peshawar.
Stay for atleast a year there because few moments never enough.or sometimes listen it from the NATO soldiers.The Original version of "KISSAKHWANI". and sometimes false blasfamy could blast off your life in Pakistan.
I am from India and I must admit these poor vendors of Pakistan are so honest and humble. It's so heart touching to see that they refused to take money from foreigners

it's funny how we judge each other, the first time I heard of the Philippines on friends, the tv show, it was about its wild traffic, but I never imagined the Philippines as a country with just lousy traffic n nothing else. I just took a joke as a joke n moved on without forming any opinion of ur country, people should take the news as news, media's job is to highlight bad n unusual things, its not their job to show you pretty things!

Harry, here's a useful tip when someone is not accepting money but you insist on giving: Tell them "Yeh aapke baccho k liye h" which translates to "This is for your kids". It will show a deeper affection and they'll be more likely to accept with a lot of gratitude and appreciation

Definitely the best food in Pakistan Beef Pilou and most definitely the peshawar I kebab. Others to try of course are Beef Nea hari, Halva Puri and Biriyani
I hope you have had good time over there but If you did not visit khyber Pass that means you missed a big part of your adventure. Its situated in the west of Peshawar at 47km. By the way, It’s an overwhelming joy for the inhabitants of Peshawar and Pashtuns to see foreigner tourists after decades. Thank you for showing the best part of culture and society to the world. If you are still in Peshawar I will recommend you to see Babe Khyber (The gate of Khyber) and visit Khyber pass which connects two continents, Central Asia with South Asia. You can google for of its history.
My experience here in PK has been great. I really love spending my time in the streets and exploring every corner. I'm all for meeting and sharing stories with the kind-hearted locals. I really wish I could extend my stay here and explore more of the land.
That was a very interesting foodie tour day! Your pashtun guide certainly hit the "real" local foodie stops who cater to the locals! You got a good sampling of the Shinawari/afgan cuisine especially the pulao with beef! Wasn't it amazing the soda guys can make money selling a bottle at 30PKr($0.15)! I also loved the Lassi vendor from the countryside coming to town every day on his donkey cart to sell that delicious lassi/yogurt with Spinach, all organic, right! Again without your pashtun buddy you would never have known about these local vendors!

You are really immersing yourself in Pakistani cuisine there Harry. Love that you are always willing to try all kinds of food except Balut, lol. Kidding Harry. :) Harry if you decide to go to Bohol, and i think you should coz you have to see the amazing Chocolate Hills and also the Tarsiers which are the 2nd smallest primate in the world, go to Panglao Island too and maybe visit Paddy's Irish Beer Pub which is owned by an Irish guy. And try to visit Balicasag Island also. The waters of Bohol are an amazing turquoise blue with white sand, though not as powdery as Boracay's. 🏖

Definitely the best food in Pakistan Beef Pilou and most definitely the peshawar I kebab. Others to try of course are Beef Nea hari, Halva Puri and Biriyani

I hope you have had good time over there but If you did not visit khyber Pass that means you missed a big part of your adventure. Its situated in the west of Peshawar at 47km.
By the way, It’s an overwhelming joy for the inhabitants of Peshawar and Pashtuns to see foreigner tourists after decades. Thank you for showing the best part of culture and society to the world. If you are still in Peshawar I will recommend you to see Babe Khyber (The gate of Khyber) and visit Khyber pass which connects two continents, Central Asia with South Asia. You can google for of its history.
My experience here in PK has been great. I really love spending my time in the streets and exploring every corner. I'm all for meeting and sharing stories with the kind-hearted locals. I really wish I could extend my stay here and explore more of the land.

That was a very interesting foodie tour day! Your pashtun guide certainly hit the "real" local foodie stops who cater to the locals! You got a good sampling of the Shinawari/afgan cuisine especially the pulao with beef! Wasn't it amazing the soda guys can make money selling a bottle at 30PKr($0.15)! I also loved the Lassi vendor from the countryside coming to town every day on his donkey cart to sell that delicious lassi/yogurt with Spinach, all organic, right! Again without your pashtun buddy you would never have known about these local vendors!

Harry if you decide to go to Bohol, and i think you should coz you have to see the amazing Chocolate Hills and also the Tarsiers which are the 2nd smallest primate in the world, go to Panglao Island too and maybe visit Paddy's Irish Beer Pub which is owned by an Irish guy. And try to visit Balicasag Island also. The waters of Bohol are an amazing turquoise blue with white sand, though not as powdery as Boracay's. 🏖
