One Lazy(ish) Day in Syracuse (Winter On Sicily)

Located just about an hour train ride south from Catania, Syracuse (or as Italians call it Siracusa) is a perfect day trip.
There is a lot to see but majority of the most lovely sights are located on an island close to the Sicilian coast, connected via several bridges, named Ortigia.
We will stroll the beautiful picturesque little streets of the town, explore ruins of the Temple of Apollo, the Fountain of Arethusa, the majestic Castello Maniace on the cliffs overlooking the Medirranean Sea and last but not least the Cethedral of Syracuse.
There is quite a lot to unpack, so let's go for it :)
