- 2013 Mercedes Benz C300, Remove panel under cluster and top,remove panels on side of the display, remove two screws,pull bazel off the cluster, disconnect two plugs (power plug will not be used)remove center trim,loose two screws then push down to release the radio,unplug the main harness then remove the fiberoptic cable, install fiberoptic to the harness then plug back in, run harness to the top, remove the display then reinstall the bazel, display comes with plastic mount for the carplay display, run aux under armrest for audio,goto settings to enable the reverse camera and aux,go to factory radio then choose aux under audio source for the sound for new monitor, we had to remove the switch panel to bring down the harness to make the radio go back in place

Had the same problem this afternoon, I had to quit for the moment.
When you removed the switch panel, to get access to the 2 screws of the Ac Controller than removed it to press wire down
What do you do first after?
Do you push the radio back in?
Than Ac controller?
If so will you be able to screw (4screws) the switch panel with the radio already push in?
Yes, we did have a hard time putting all screws back in place . You have to have someone help you to pull and screws back in place
I’m trying to help a friend with the touch screen not playing sound. How is the connection made? Is the touchscreen audio out via aux? And are you feeding that back to the head unit? Can you explain in detail how that is connected?
You need to have an aux cable connected in the glove box like video
