    I spent 4 years getting a BSEE and I would have saved a lot of time if I just watched this video. Kidding of course but seriously you’ve done a great job.

    John, thanks for your all your videos...very helpful to me , a first time owner.
    I have a question about your multimeter reading. The meter is set to milliamperes and reads .5 ,,,, I figure that is half of one milliampere . You go on to say that 50 milliamperes is am acceptable parasitic draw. Am I missing something? Jeff

      I wasn't trying to connect those two things in my statement, it was just coincidence they both had fives. The very low reading on the meter indicates there is no parasitic draw. Also, as a rule of thumb, readings below 50 milliamps tend to rule out a parasitic draw. Readings above 50 milliamps should make you suspicious. I don't think you missed anything.
