- The first preview of post-reboot EX content! All bosses will receive a full fight makeover into a more involved and intense 2-phase battle. They are given a second healthbar to distinguish them from the minor boss fights and to focus on them as the absolute highlight of the stage. The idea is to up the spectacle and explore the RM's concepts further while keeping the difficulty higher but still fair.
If THIS is what Toad Man is now, I dread how the Mega Man Killers' fights will go.
They might finally live up to their name of killers...
Especially Punk, if his damage output is anything like his MM10 fight
i like how the movement speed and firing mechanics have been adjusted to match the NES titles, it's one of the few things that turned a lot of people off from the original wily wars
When toad man gets pissed off of beeing the easiest boss in the whole franchise.

With the classic mode having now only the normal boss without pinch. This is a whole new boss with brand new mechanincs and even having similarities with the old pinch, and the amount of detail that this has, man this is perfect.
And that's the first thing from the New EX Mode, I'm very excited for this, good luck on the development

The fluid movement is incredible and that difficulty looks incredible I doubt very much that it can pass it to me but it is undoubtedly incredible + that 3D effect 10/10
Ok so the new boss is undenyably impressive, but can we take a second to appreciate how they managed to make the MM4 boss theme both kickass and threatening? Like until the bit from MM4 kicked in I thought it was an entirely new song. Major props to the person behind the BGM! 👌

The rotation of the stage, the new boss patterns, all the idea are really well implemented.

I just can't believe how amazing this all looks. I grew up on the original mega man in the 80s and 90s, and found the wily wars in the 2000s via emulation. I love the work you're doing. Not only does it preserve the game, it fills a hole that SHOULD have been official by Capcom. This game is as canon as any of them. Well done, I cannot WAIT to get it! Till then, I'll just have to keep enjoying the legacy collection on Steam!!
Wow, Toad Man puts up an actual fight! Not intelligence-insultingly easy like the NES version, and not hair-yankingly frustrating like in the Game Gear version. Hats off!
Why am I just now finding out there's a fan game of my favorite Mega Man game in the style of Wily Wars?
Better yet with a ton of upgrades. I need more.
I do feel his raincloud attack goes on a bit too long which leads to some unnecessary downtime where you're not able to attack him. Otherwise, really cool!

This is fucking phenomenal. MM4 is my favorite MM game of all time but it always bothered me how absurdly easy Toad Man was. This is doing wonders to his fight. Good luck!!
*Toad Man in MM4 :* Pathetic and easy to kill. The only things he can do is jump and dance. Have a normal arena just like most other RMs.
*Toad Man in Sequel Wars :* Epic battle! He can and WILL kill you easily. He has actual attacks instead of a bullstuff one, and even the Sea Mines from Dive Man's stage join the battle. The arena is a platform that doesn't cover as much than the common arenas, but it can SPEEN!!
Isn't it amazing that the Mega Man community is able to improve pathetic bosses like Toad Man or Quint, and then make an epic fight out of them?

Good music. Toad Man looks much more formidable than in the original. Him and Stone Man were always the easiest bosses in the whole franchise.

I like the fight, but it feels over the top. Toad Man was designed to be the first boss in the game so he should be easy.

I will never tire of applauding your sublime work, but please, please, PLEASE implement high bitrate samples. Mega Drive has a terrific DAC and nowadays ROM size is not a huge issue :)
