Glad you have an reliable internet service.
Isaac,
This is awesome. I appreciate the effort you put into this video. Totally helpful.
💚
Well researched and honest info as usual 👍
Great review Issac! 🍻🤗
Hello Isaac, you're rocking that Pendleton!
And I love your shoes, what kind are they?
I love Pendleton my shoes are danners!
I just spent two weeks in Baja with vanlife friends.....one of those friends has Starlink because she is also a digital nomad, working from her van. I highly recommend Starlink. Get the residential one with portability. You get priority access to data and satellites that way. We never had any issues connecting and it was great for peace of mind to be able to keep in touch with my family from the road. I was really impressed with the service. Definitely considering it.
Hey thanks for the tip! I def need to try it!
I love when you do this type of video!! I also know your being honest about your opinion!!
Thank you
Thank you so much!!
Good info to know! 👍🏼👍🏼
thank you for your honest review
Thanks for watching
This is very helpful information. Im looking to get one as well.
I’ve been researching wireless mobile internet for about 5 years plus. Van city van life has been using Starlink and is happy with it. But it’s a one time fee of $599.00 for the hardware and currently $110 monthly for internet. And you can use it anywhere . It’s just to expensive for me. Thanks for your input on your experience with mobile internet. Have a good day!
I'm glad you said that I've been looking into starlink, just started living life on the road almost been a year now and my hotspot just isn't it anymore!
Thanks for your review
Love your videos!
Isaac, I really appreciate this review. It's so difficult to choose the best option when you are first starting out and there is nothing worse than dumping a bunch of money on something that doesn't perform. Thank you for being specific and honest! Much love!
Good review
Thanks!
Isacc take the power adapter for that router get your multmeter set to volts dc check from center pin to outer sleeve see what you get.. : )
Gee, I thought I knew and I did not. Thanks!
Thank you, Isaac.
Many modems/routers actually use 12 volts dc. They have a small power supply at the plug that changes 120 volts AC to 12 volts DC. I didn't check this but if it works the same as others it would be possible to get a cigarette lighter plug with a cord and barrel connector with the correct polarity to run this on 12 volts without the power supply that comes with it. Some routers run on 5 volts so be sure to check the voltage output and polarity on the power supply before doing this. If possible it would run more efficiently running on 12 volts rather than without running an inverter to increase the voltage from 12 volts DC to 120 volts AC and then reducing it back to 12 volts DC with the power supply when traveling.
Hey Issac Would CB Antennas work? I am old school my Bonus Dad had a big long CB Antenna . So with your sim card on how much through your cell provider. Spectrum Internet also has the fine print price goes up a yr later. I have Sprint ie T-Mobile but Sprint won't let my phone be T Mobile. Expensive for me just one person too.
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
I know where your @ . BUT I thought you was going to say that this Place that your filming @. was like your Closest signal to town lol .
You're absolutely correct unlimited with cellphone carriers is not unlimited, I have 50gs of hotspot I live on the road
💗💗💗💗💗
It also matters if your cell phone is 5G. Many still have 2G phones. Just saying.
Hmm
Power wise, I wonder if it would make sense to get one of those really small inverters for permanent 110v gear like this.
they are cheap enough
😎
❤
Did you use that on your last live?
👍🏼👍🏼✌🏼
I will be working from my rv spot where internet is good, but I need good internet for my gaming. Will this work for gaming (online rpg)?
im confused! is it unlimitedville service or is a national carrier sim card for service ?
Can you cut the plug and wire it directly to 12v without the converter plug?
Possibly
Uhm that a interesting thought..uhm
Starlink is better, no data caps, and it's cheaper
I don’t own one!
🎀🎀🎀🎀
Any ideas for Canadian equivalent?
