Thank you for showing the differences between the two. You could use the natures head for your next build.I love what you and Jaylena has done with the bus so far. You vision is coming to life! Love it!
WOW! Thank you so much for the shout-out and honest review of our product, we are so glad you like it! Great feedback as well. Thanks again and your bus is looking AMAZING! Best wishes.
It makes sense that the liquids would hold more. Humans pee more than they poop. The sensor is super cool is too! I also think that it just makes sense that I wouldn't want to haul around poop for a month in comparison to two weeks. It totally cracks me up that us nomads talk about our pee and poop so much without any shame. It's beautiful!
Great video and your points of choice were spot on. This is a composting toilet that I could actually handle. I'm 63 and disabled and there is no way I could handle having to hump most of the toilet outside to clean it. That bucket on the OGO is a game changer. Thank you.
Halo giving her voice of approval at the end - well timed Halo! Good choice Bus Buddha. I prefer the look of OGO's overall design as well because it looks more like a normal domestic loo.
I do believe Halo loves you Isaac, she has good taste like her Human mother hahaha You both amaze me its a great joy to watch you both evolve and become the awesome family you are ...That bus (home) is looking to be a uniquely special one. Cheers take care.
Great job Isaac ! I like the reasons you gave for your choice. I think that easier to clean and having the electric stirrer are good reason! But I would have chosen this for just the ease of 😊cleaning factor!
Bonus video - hooray!! Love that Halo hung out with you--I think she was asking you to do a litter box review next, ha!! Actually that would be kinda fun!! Nice choice going w/the OGO toilet. Thanks for sharing the review & install! See ya next time. -Hugs, Wanda 🤗
thanks for sharing I do agree easier is always better.... for now Im planning on building a basic compost although when the money Gods shine on my that OGO looks like a GEM!!! Ive been following you both for a while when Jaylena bought her bus it inspired me to look into them.. presently in conversion mode with mine.. I started a YT then stopped I am planning on getting back into posting again you both are very inspiring..
Good tip on not being able to easily switch back and forth between bottle and no bottle. I’m thinking winter I want to use the bottle since dump stations are so hard to find in ski country.
Yes I think I build my own too. I'm good with using wood shaving and a pee deserter into the gray tank ..wood shaving stop the Smell and will compost well .

If l needed one, l would definitely get the one you chose. I do wish, though, that there was some sort of pail handle to lift the solids out with, other than what it comes with.
Hi Issac, that was very interesting. You are very good at explaining things. So happy you installed the toilet. One more major step done! You are moving! Love you and Jaylena and sweet Ember to pieces. I love your creativity for all your busee.
Hi I have been watching so many videos of skoolies that im super interested in buying one im new to all of this and i would love for some advice in how to do a skoolie. Btw beautiful cat 😊
I am in the Process of paying off a 1991 Fleetwood Flair 22 foot Class Motorhome, and I am planning on removing the Regular Toilet, and installing a Composting Toilet simply because I just don't want to have to deal with emptying out and flushing out a Black Water Tank. I was planning on just using a 5 gallon bucket, and getting like some sawdust, or peat moss to add in with the solids and coming up with a way to mix them up to initiate the composting process, and use biodegradable plastic bags, so that when I am out boondocking, I can just dig a hole, and bury the waste before I leave the area.
Hello Isaac. I personally would only use one toilet and that is the Cinderella macerator . I am not sure if that is the right wording. It basically turns your waste into ashes. I see more and more people BUYING these toilets. How much nicer to just have to throw away charcoal/ashes!!!. I would never consider any other toilet. Just my opinion Isaac. What do you think about these toilets as you DON'T have to deal with the messy stuff. I watch every thing YOU put out and I think your home is looking lovely. I am looking forward to seeing the end results. All the best from wales UK again xxx sunset xxx
I would buy an ogo in a heartbeat IF the pull switch was on the side (for the opening the trap). It seems really awkward while sitting down to pull that out. What if you're short? Short legs might make legs block this area....
Heyoh Isaac! I appreciate the review! A friend & I were discussing various toilets a week ago. About a month ago I reached out on your IG about a 5 window skoolie. I am closer to selling my house and am in the market for some sort of rig. Once Im on the road I would love to meet you, Jaylena & Ember!
The OGO would be my choice so you could get rid of the chunks quicker! I hate outhouses! The stink! I know you put anti stink stuff on the 💩. I am too citified I guess. I think it might need a platform-I'm old-self explanation.
Do you think that those toilet manufacturers employ product testers, do you think there are people out there who say...." when I grow up I want to be a product tester for nature's head toilets", do you think testers exchange notes with each other, do you think that testers wish each other a "hope everything comes out alright" when someone goes into the "test chambers" kinda like actors say "break a leg" to each other before going on stage " do you think there is a testing laboratory lavatory at the factory? do you wonder if there's a contest for "tester of the month" between product testers, and wonder how they would judge it, perhaps by volume? If you are a product tester is all your food tax deductible,....do you think that they subscribe to a lot of newspapers and magazines at the factory?........those are all things to ponder over the next time you use your natures head or OGO toilet and ...hope everything comes out alright"💩
Hey Charles G.S► These are defiantly the real questions to ponder. We do have "testers" in different settings, so we do get some unpredictable but imperative feedback. We at OGO™ really strive for sanitation solutions for off-grid living even if that means, wishing people happy journeys! No contests though and the testers are in the privacy of their own builds. Best wishes and hope everything comes out alright.
Just a heads up, you may want to incorporate a small p trap so you can pour a small amount of water in and trap the gases in your tank so it doesn't rise up through the toilet
@@isaacturnerit You might want to look at a "Hepvo Waterless Waste Valve". It's made for RVs, takes up less room and does the same thing as a P trap without water that can slosh out of the trap when the bus is moving around.
