Beautiful song. Rick Wright (on keys and some vocals) is on there also. That reminds me, you should also watch "Echoes, live from Gdansk (Poland), 2006" if you haven't seen it already. That was Rick's last time before he passed, playing on it with David.
You still have David, Nick Mason and Richard Wtright as Pink Floyd, only one missing is Rodger Waters who had long left the band at this point. Touring they have a supporting cast to help with all the sounds we hear in the studio recordings.
It's not just David and Nick Mason it's also Richard Wright the genius keyboardist behind all the soundscapes that surrounds all the music!! Without Richard Wright we wouldn't have had the Pink Floyd we know and he's in this song playing the keyboards!!!
This was one of many highlights from a brilliant concert performance. Sat front row center for this Tour, in The Superdome New Orleans 94. 5th and final time to see Floyd live. Biz, you should do every song from the later albums, “Momentary Lapse of Reason,” “The Delicate Sound of Thunder” and “The Division Bell.” These studio recordings and the accompanying Tours hold up just fine without Waters’ contributions. (This from a fan who still reveres Roger’s talents as a musician and lyricist to this day) You should also checkout Roger’s own Concerts. 2016’s show in Mexico City performing, “Pigs, In Three Parts” in stunningly good with videos and graphic images still prescient today.
"High Hopes" a track off 'The Division Bell' album released back in 1994 by Pink Floyd later in their decades long career is smokin' hot and is a musical masterpiece. Guitarist David Gilmour's solo on the lap steel guitar sinks deep down in your soul and is mesmerizing.💫🎤🎸🎹🥁🔊⚡🔥🎧
Pink Floyd one of my favorite bands and I Love all of their songs and instrumentals and they are awesome and on point with how they play their music 🎶 ❤🎉👍😊🌞
Watch the whole Pulse concert on your own buddy!!! Will change your life forever and perspective on this band!!! Best concert of all bands start to finish!!!!😮😮😮😮
welcome to pink floyd the whole pulse concert is considered to be the best live show ever suggestions from pulse , great gig in the sky , high hopes, one of these days , and the final number using over 1 million dollars of lighting hold onto your seat run like hell and of coarse comfortably numb David Gilmore the main man is still performing world wide to sell out crowds at 78 yo The pulse concerts featured even more special effects than the previous tour, including two custom designed airships.[2] Three stages leapfrogged around North America and Europe, each 180 feet (55 m) long and featuring a 130-foot (40 m) arch resembling the Hollywood Bowl venue. All in all, the tour required 700 tons of steel carried by 53 articulated trucks, a crew of 161 people and an initial investment of US$4 million plus US$25 million of running costs just to stage. This tour played to over 5 million people in 68 cities; each concert gathered an average audience of 45,000.
Pink Floyd minus Roger is still Pink Floyd. Roger’s contribution to Pink Floyd was monumental. He is a true genius; however, he chose to walk away from the band. Gilmour, Wright, and Mason MADE Roger’s songs sound great. I’ll take Momentary Lapse of Reason and Division Bell over anything Roger has created after leaving the band.
I'm a Waters disciple. But Momentary Lapse of Reason was my first PF album at 16. Learning to Fly and On the Turning Away will always be 1 and 2. Your favourite PF song changes with your life. Thats facts.
DSOTM was done as a group. The :Wall" was all Roger's work except for 5 songs which are the only ones the band can play after Roger left the band. He left with all the copyrights. Lyrics a far different than Rogers anger. Not big on non-band vids. but "On the turning away"(1989-07-15)FM by think Floyd.61 with over 9 million views. ***************
I saw this concert in 1994. I saw them in 1987. I saw Waters in 1984 and 1987. Waters shows were better than PF musically and sonically and Waters was just using a stage .. no light show or stage props. I enjoy PFs albums without Waters and Waters solo albums. Although, my favorite is Waters album Amused To Death with Jeff Beck on guitar. Waters had Clapton on guitar at the 1984 show, best concert I've ever seen.
Amused to Death is outstanding. Beck's solo on "Three Wishes" is one of the tastiest I've ever heard. Also, Clapton on The Pros and Cons of Hitchhiking does a fantastic job.
@pt9167 Check out the In The Flesh concert with Waters on YT with 9 million views, they play a lot of songs off of Amused to Death and Every Strangers Eyes. Amazing concert! He does songs across the most of the PF catalog as well. I love the Pros album, the only non-political album Waters ever did, lol. I love all of his stuff, amazing songwriter.
That 'stupendous' high note from Margret Taylor at 8:56 get's me every time. Amazing.

No one , i Said NO ONE ist Missing Waters!!!!!!
@@crk802 physically missing from the original line up, don't be dramatic. oh and that is only Your opinion you know.

Absolut right
Thanks Biz!! My favorite PF song.
The look on your face is indicative of how this music penetrates to our most inner core of emotion and feeling.
Great reaction!
Probably the best song I've ever heard live. Rachel Fury, Margaret Taylor and Durga McBroom blew my mind.
Such a great song.
The whole PinkFloyd sound makes an old guy cry...They are so incredible. Great reaction. Thank you and cheers from a finn in Sweden.
No matter how many times I hear this song, it still gives me chills.
Such a potent stark message, ignited in your conscience with pure FIRE !!!! One of my favourites ... Glad to see you back BTW Biz

Pink Floyd has been an important part of my life for over fifty years.
One of the best reactions and commentary I’ve heard in a long time! Look forward to more of you and Pink Floyd.
My favorite PF song.
Mine as well!!!
Learning to fly and Sorrow from "Pulse" live at Earls Court are fantastic. Oh yeh and one of these days, Comfortably Numb etc.

You mentioned Dark Side and The Wall albums. 3 of the 4 band members on those albums are performing in this video of On The Turning Away.
great job...One slip from this album is pretty awesome.Cheers
Pink Floyd one of my favorite bands and I Love all of their songs and instrumentals and they are awesome and on point with how they play their music 🎶 ❤🎉👍😊🌞
“Dogs of War” same album same concert is phenomenal
Watch the whole Pulse concert on your own buddy!!! Will change your life forever and perspective on this band!!! Best concert of all bands start to finish!!!!😮😮😮😮
Signs of Life off this album is a type of On the Run interlude. Gilmore killed it with this album.

Hell ya
Terrific take on this one.
Fun fact. The bass player on this video is married to Richard Wright’s daughter.
Such a poignant social commentary. Love this song!

Top 🔝
One word Organic
Gilmour has a solo song called Murder. A very good one with Pino Palladino on bass. The album version is best.

Roger Waters is the only member of the classic lineup that's not here in this performance

@@Lexwell_Lavers No doubt. I'll definitely check it out. Thanks for the info.
@pt9167 the setlist is in the YT header 🙂
Good song, but the solos were to long.
Said no one ever.
And??????
None solo is too long when performing by David gilmour 😊
Brilliant full stop.
Pink Floyd only got better after Rodger Waters left.
