    Growing up in upstate NY, there really wasn't a whole lot of fish we didn't eat growing up. I love smallmouth a lot more than largemouth though. Largemouth are still a tasty fish for sure. I did a catch clean and cook where I made the bass 3 different ways, and they were awesome. Good video! Making me hungry now. Thanks! 😝😅

    Best way to prepare any fish you have to wash it with lime and salt let sit for about 10minutes than rinse it out Next buy Adobo and Mojo LOL its Latin seasoning it has a mix of seasoning you can find it in the Spanish section at your closest super market . You don’t have to deep fry it just put some olive oil and Cook each side evenly. Serve with a fresh squeeze lime 🇵🇷🇩🇴🌊

      How is this different from you hunting a deer or any other animal? If someone keeps smaller size and all within the limit, that actually helps bigger size fish especially on the lake with a lot of juvenilles. Is Large Mouth Bass under protection? Last time I checked it was like any other fish that you can keep and it has pretty healthy population actually.

    • @codename7832
      @codename7832 5 років тому

      @Justin Rodriguez its not about his channel its about this whole upset because someone took one fish for lunch and its coming from a person that has dead deer in his profile picture 🤦‍♂️. Like I said if he would take 5, 8, 10lb bass i would say the same thing (what are you doing?) Instead he took 15" juvenille fish to have for lunch.

      Proabably one of the dumbest comments I’ve heard in awhile. First reason is that wildlife management sets limits on maintaining a sustainable harvest, so if you are allowed to harvest a bass, that was a conscious decision by fishery professionals, secondly you assign some mystic/special characteristic because it’s a bass...... no different from any other fish, and to think one guy keeping a bass on a UA-cam channel will set a trend that has some impact is just..... well sorry, but it’s dumb.

      A lot of people in the Asian community eat bass. I’d bring at least one home to my parents if it’s under 2 lbs. they’d gut the fish then steam it whole with ginger, green onion, soy sauce and vegetable oil.

    anybody ever call you a young dan akroyd? In so many ways
    also, bleeding the fish requires gravity so ya gotta hold it with the tail up and head towards the ground if that's the route you're taking. when you try bleeding it by putting it under water with the head facing up, well, if that works than you are defying the laws of gravity my friend. I just caught my first largemouth today and am going to fry it up tomorrow! super stoked!

    At least you didn't set your boat on fire like Jon B did on a catch and cook on his boat.
    Just dig a hole and put the oil in the hole, problem solved. Harvesting stock fish is something that I have never been concerned about. It is the wild fish that need to be conserved I believe. Always release more than you harvest. I have eaten a few Large Mouths but do not care for them much.

      Tucker_ I agree , Yeah I’m sure you can eat more plenty of people do but I grew up fishin that lake 2 times a week, And I can say without a doubt that water is dirtier than most other lakes. Even the quality of fish seem different. Needless to say I’m probably not gonna choose to eat a fish I caught underneath the meow mix plant lol 🐱

      @@tucker_4629 Lmao you're tripping. Just because you can't see what the mercury and lead is doing to you doesn't mean you won't die of cancer at 74.
