Can you set up the somfy from a cell phone at the home, then allow another operator out of state to also Join that network to control from there? My client is having trouble joining the link I successfully set up.
I bought one for my retractable awning en my country Venezuela, when I try to unload the app my App Store ( Apple ) said that no available form my country … what can I do ?
These instructions oversimplify the process. My groups work perfectly using the remote. But they won't operate independently using the app (even though the group I'm attempting to program is the only one that jogs). It's taken me several hours and I haven't even gotten to the point of creating scenes or schedules. Going to reach out to tech support this week, but I would say this app and the cost of the link are hardly worth it.
when i press the programming button on the back of my remote the shade never jogs and i have to re-program the remote to get it working again. Ive tried tapping and press and hold and nothing works. My remote looks different. Can you update process with the newer remotes

This video simplifies a rather tedious process which wouldn't be so offensive if it actually worked. Haven't been able to get past "searching for device" stage. Installer tried to blame it on my network, which oddly works perfectly for every other device using it. I called customer service and no one picks up.
Not sure if you ever solved this. I've had good success working with customer service a couple of years ago. I do find the Wi-Fi receiver sensitivity not particularly good. So even though other devices work well, it is still likely the issue. Any chance you can move your access point closer or add a wi-fi repeater?

My somfy Mylink device would not connect to internet for initial set-up when I was near the blinds I wanted to control. So I placed it next to the router and connected to wifi and the Somfy MyLink app on my phone. Then relocated MyLink device to where I needed it and was able to continue programme the app, adding the blinds to simulate Remote mode.

The remote works but never been able to get the app top work. Using iOS or android

@@somfysystems If our shades are already programmed with a remote, do we need to program again or just link the 'mylink' to the motor.
I put the transmitter of RTS and my roller shade did rolling back and forth; then I press the button on the APP, but NOTHING WORKED! WHY ????
