- 42 years old recreational football player injured his left knee during a weekend game. He presented with pain, swelling and blocked extension. Clinically, last 10 degrees extension was lagging and Lachman/Pivot shift were positive. MRI showed a bucket handle medial meniscus tear and ACL rupture. The intraop findings were correlative. He underwent medial meniscus repair ( combo of inside-out and all inside sutures), hamstring autograft ACL reconstruction and partial lateral menisectomy.
