Thank you so much for creating this video!! I immediately sent it to my sons as I am trying to get them to move here. I moved to Corning from AZ and I love it so much..the waterfalls close by, the GREEN GRASS and the smell of flowers in the air. Such a cut above where we lived in AZ (aka hell on earth)..I've lived in FL, NC, AZ and Long Island..Corning is now my home (for 2 years now) and I love it.
So glad you love it and I hope it helps your sons see how amazing the area is! We just posted some fun winter stuff in Corning on our Instagram and we will be back again in the spring to film even more! There’s just so much to see, taste and do!
Thanks for this video. Took me down memory lane. It’s been many years since I’ve been back now. I spent my summers there growing up. Lots of green rolling hills, many fishing, camping opportunities, places to ride a bike… great place for a kid growing up.
@@WildPreciousNow That’s kinda tough. You’ve covered a lot of the main things in this video and I live in an area slightly outside of Corning so I’m not too sure what’s around there. However, some nice places nearby are Renaissance Winery (Bath) Champs restaurant (Campbell) Regal Cinemas (Horseheads Mall) The racing track/softball fields (Horseheads) and Glenora falls (Hammondsport). Out of those, I’d recommend 100% going to Renaissance, Glenora Falls, and Champs. The other places are mid tier. I have a second house in Niagara Falls, so if you’d like to travel there one time, I can give you some awesome places to go there.
I live in steuben county NY. Its somewhat boring and jobs arent abundant, however i will say Corning NY is pretty nice. I frequent Corning as i reside 15 minute drive away
This was our first visit to Corning NY and we loved the charm of this little city! We hope that we might inspire more people to visit to help with jobs and create even more excitement in your beautiful county!
@WildPreciousNow oh BTW, I used to work at Timber stone grille!! Worked their for 3 seasons straight. The owner is a talented chef, high quality food and menu. I'm glad you featured & enjoyed it!! Yes corning honestly is pretty nice. Slightly upscale town with abundant business and economy. I always do enjoy walking market street whenever I can it's actually a prime destination I jog on a normal basis on a day off.
Ack! Sorry for getting it wrong! I know how you feel, visitors to our area always say to wrong too, but we don’t mind, makes it easy to distinguish the tourists from the locals 🙂
😂 Most people want out of Steuben county and new York entirely. Only good things going for this state are the hunting, fishing, the scenery and the history. As a person that lives here it's boring as hell if something isn't going on like a festival or something. And avoid Bath New York aka Meth Angeles at all costs.
Oh no! I’m literally counting down the days to go back, we met so many great people and lake life is so serene when you’re not accustomed to it! Hunting, fishing, scenery and history is a whole LOT going for a place. I agree with you on the fishing- we saw some exciting catches on our most recent visit to Keuka lake!
This online brochure romanticizes the area, and of course that leaves out the depressing existences of those who can't see beyond the junk stacked up in their overgrown front lawn, that usually features an ill-fed dog tethered to a junky dog house.

At least learn how to pronounce Steuben before you record your voiceover. The accent is on the second syllable, “ben”.
